  9. Actually I expect that to happen sometime. I had a dream once that half my land was full of mobile homes with families in them and the other half was crops
  10. This thread has reminded me of a freind I had back in Job Corps. He was a muslim refugee from Iraq (first gulf war). I was amazed at how similar our faiths were and the fact that he knew more about the LDS religion than my mainstream christian friends that grew up here in the U.S.

  13. It would be helpful if we knew who you are talking about. I know of several people who fit into the description of anti-christ, at least in my own opinion.
  14. Influence does not equal control. You could influence me to like you but you have no control over my eventual choice to like you or not.

  19. Reading this thread has reminded me of a set of refrigerator magnets my grandparents had. One was of was a rooster puffing out his chest with the words written on the bottom: "I rule the roost". The other magnet was of a hen and it said, "I rule the rooster".
  20. I agree. In fact we know it wasn't complete submersion because Noah, his family, and animals were on the ark.
  21. I think the flood was world-wide as far as it mattered for those who witnessed it and gave us the account. The main argument that the flood had to be world wide is that it is of one type with babtism, in other words it had to be total submersion. I agree with Traveler though that we don't have a complete record.
