  1. I'm a metal head and my dad was born in Racine. That makes me a Packers fan by default. Make mine extra sharp.
  2. LOL! I've never seen Le Mis. I guess I'm deprived.
  3. That is TOO funny! Oh bummer. I can't post the video here.
  4. That's what launches you out of bed!
  5. OH. This is SO me. LOL!
  6. People swear to God that if you force yourself to keep doing it, it becomes addicting and then it WILL be a great motivator. (Note that I cannot speak from personal experience.)
  7. I've never heard the phrase either. Maybe it's that OTHER English.
  8. People who are members of a church community live longer than other people.
  9. Morning person here. I have a border collie who washes my face starting at 2 minutes to 7:00am. When that doesn't get me up, she pulls my covers off. And she knows to drag them to the end of the bed so I can't grab them and pull them back up.
  10. As someone who has been in exotic bird rescue (and before that wildlife rescue (oh, and the genealogy)) I've gotta say that my phone number is plastered all over the internet. Lots of forum leaders try to save me from myself, but it's just too late.
  11. Awesome. Thanks!
  12. How north are you? (With my luck you're in my ward.)
  13. YOU, sir, are warped. LOL!
  14. Yeah --it wouldn't be a big enough hint for my husband to get a clue. :)
  15. If you were a crazy, would YOU mess with Johnny?
  16. Moksha, can that thing speak to Mars?
  17. Does Iran realize the ramifications to itself if it nukes the entire world? I hate to think how much of their consumer goods are imported.
  18. The entire movie is here although it's weird watching it in 24 different sections. (And avoid the comments.) YouTube - Joseph Part 01/24
  19. Not as north as me!
  20. I have a million recipes for breads. Not to pawn it off, but Google "ABM Recipes" and you'll get more than you can possibly deal with. We're on a concrete slab here. That has its benefits (nothing will fall through the floor) and its drawbacks (no basement.)
  21. At the cannery, the hard white wheat is almost 6 pounds for 2.60, so I'll probably stick to that. LOL! From the THRIVE, I've gotten things like powdered butter and eggs, and other things that the cannery doesn't carry.
  22. I probably have a dozen books on food storage, but not that one. Yorkie, I missed your post. We have that food saver attachment, and absolutely swear by it. My only concern is that I'm going to end up with tons of glass to be stored. It'll be impossible to move if something happens, and there's also the possibility of breakage. But, we have a local store that sells 1/2 gallon canning jars, and I just love them for sugar, beans, etc.
  23. Welcome to the forum! I'm in Cali too.
  24. I still want a definitive answer on coffee and tea. Is it the caffeine or not? (Sorry Sean. I'll read your post but needed to slip this in.)
