The Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is still in need of volunteers for the house being built in South Jordan, UT. If you live in Salt Lake or Utah County, come and give a hand if you can! Here is an email I received today:

I recently saw Les Mis in Salt Lake City and my wife and I also felt that it was a lot more sexually explicit than in past productions that we have seen. I honestly feel that if that is what they are going to focus on in Les Mis then I may not go to future productions of it. Extreme Home Makeover is building a new home for a family in the Salt Lake Valley and they are building it in the Daybreak community in South Jordan, UT (I'm pretty sure the lot they are building on is right around the corner from me ). I don't watch the show every week so they may have done this before, but this time they are not demolishing an existing home, they are just building the new house on an empty lot. On my mission we had to re-baptize a member because their records were lost for over a year...about a week later Salt Lake City sent a copy of his records. However, it was good that his records were lost because we were able to teach him some basic principles he had been struggling with and help him gain a stronger testimony.

KrazyKay, unfortunitely its not in the water...my wife and I have been trying to have a second child for about 3 years while everyone around us seems to just pop them out on demand. Our bishop was joking and saying that if everyone keeps having kids he is going to call all the parents to the nursery so they can watch their own kids.

All I know is that our ward is doing a great job of replenishing / filling the earth! We have about 40 babies / toddlers in our nursery classes with more babies to come through out the year!

I don't know how either of my mission presidents were called. I had heard that my second president had just turned in papers to be a senior missionary and then was called as mission president, but that could just be missionary folklore. I do know that both of my mission presidents served as missionaries in my same mission under Pres. Monson when he was a mission president so maybe Pres. Monson had been keeping track of them all these years.

Do not respond to him! He should not be looking for loop holes to contact you. However, you could pray for your ex and ask Heavenly Father to help him find the "peace and closure" he needs if he is truely seeking those things.

I've been able to stay in the celestial room as long as I have wanted...and some of them have been pretty long stays (as I was there long enough to see 3 or 4 different sessions enter the celestial room). I always try to stay in the celestial room until I find "peace" with things that are troubling me or those things I have been seeking revelation on.

If your nephew's biological father was to ever give up his parental rights and allow your brother to legally adopt him, then I believe your brother and nephew could be sealed. Also remember that just because you are sealed to someone that does not take away a persons agency in the other world, choices will still be made.

I'm currently rereading the Owners manual as Pres. Uchtdorf counseled us to do. It is amazing how clearly things our laid out and what is expected of Priesthood holders.

The closest thing you are going to get to a “hotline” is a sincere prayer to Heavenly Father. And if Heavenly Father feels you have a valid point He will let his Prophet know that a change needs to be made. Warning: It may take more than one prayer.
