  10. For the love of pete STOP blaming the government for the prices of drugs!!!!!!!! It is NOT the government's fault and it is certainly NOT Bush's fault. Drug companies spend billions each year in research and development. They fight lawsuits and have to carry high malpractice insurance. Drugs are not cheap and are not intended to be "free." Why are drugs so much cheaper in Canada then? Well, you're still paying for them. You have a higher level of income tax and your money is not worth as much as the American dollar. Something I learned this week is that the American military healthcare system is a socialized system. Well if THAT is the case, I am certainly happy that Kerry did not win!!! I have a friend who has been trying to get pregnant for 2 years and needs a certain type of medicine to bring on her menstrual cycle. Her military doctors refuse to give it to her, as they don't see the "neccessity" in having a monthly cycle. Yet she has a insulin disease and it's been proven that if a woman does not shed her uterine lining each month, she is put at dangerously high odds for endometrial cancer. No thanks!! I like being able to go see my specialist and get the care and treatment I want, when I want it. I don't have to wait months for my appointments. When I got pregnant, I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks to make sure everything was okay. My Canadian friends said their doctors wouldn't run blood tests, wouldn't do an ultrasound, that you had to wait until you were around 20 weeks pregnant. That is dangerous! I could go on and on and on but I will save it to spare the menfolk You blame Bush, yet he enacted the Medicare Prescription Plan which will give medicare benefits for drugs to seniors. How is he to blame? I agree w/ Shan, the healthcare system in America has its fair share of problems, but PLEASE be intelligent and stop blaming it on Bush. Blame it on the trial lawyers and the insurance companies.

  15. one word: netflix
  16. hence why i really don't care what a president or candidate's religion is...that doesn't influence me in the slightest..
  17. curvette...that or he'll pass those views onto another generation of men...*shudder* lol
  18. disruptive, i'm sorry...but you have got to be the most uninformed, most uneducated person i've ever met in regards to your views on this subject...*shakes head*
  19. considering they both have the personality of a rock and kerry's is only the personality of a toad..that's a hard decision rofl
  20. I've found here in the south that a LOT of churches label us all sorts of things, but their followers don't always agree or go along with those labels.. again, even if a president belongs to a church that labels us cultists, it'd be a cold day in jamaica before that'd monumentally impacted our church president: i don't like those mormons, those cultists!! i'm gonna punish them by..by..by.. what? what in the world could an anti-mormon president possibly do to the LDS church? john kerry belongs to a religion that teaches that Invitro Fertilization is an abomination as well as all forms of abortion, should I start worrying that if he becomes the next president that infertility clinics around the country will be forced to shut down and RvW will automatically be dismissed? nope
  21. you find it interesting that i've always been taught that herbal tea is acceptable? gosh..my sunday school and seminary teachers must be heathens lol
  22. considering he's the PRESIDENT and not the religious leader of the nation, i couldn't care less...President Bush doesn't treat Mormons as cultists...or maybe he's hiding his real feelings when he gave Pres. Hinckley that nice medal or whatever it was... I don't care about the president's or kerry's personal religious beliefs as I fully support seperation of church and state and said religious beliefs do not (or should not) impact my freedom... President could be Muslim and I wouldn't bat an eye over it...
  23. so big deal, we're a cult...ooooooh i'm scared!!!
  24. yes, clinton only INHALED ROFL
  25. inactive: that's great you went back :) what's probably the case is: you got used to it..when my husband started investigating the church he could hardly stand to sit through sacrament meeting due to the noise...but each week he noticed it less and less...now we barely even think about it..course, we sit up front...but it's a small chapel... as far as the nursery portion: the church has its reasons i'm sure :)
