I would just give rare earth magnets if they needed them that much, I have so many extra from my model wargaming days. But Lakumi would never tithe to human religion, humans are short lived and powerless compared to the fae, We can't agree where we came from or where we're going, they all know. But then again they have absolutely no society really, just a bunch of naked things flying around, dancing-you know faerie stuff. Point is, I am sure temples can use magnets too, who doesn't need magnets?!

As a faerie, there is no concept of tithing since there is no concept of weath, they live to serve and guard the forest and when they die their physical bodies are buried and become part of the forest like their ancestors. They have no afterlife. But the doll's wings are magnetic, so I guess she could tithe them but to what and why?

Will there be Celestial Pepsi, if not then my addiction would be cut off right there.

Wait I am supposed to offset the dolls by giving? I have nothing to give lol

There was no box for "belongs to an enlightened species-so sayith the Siv" I call shennigans!

No, I'm only 25.

Lakumi is a faerie she should be the most privileged!

Converting your parents, how'd that come about? merry welcomes -
Yeah I still have some of my old D&D figs, there's a game I still play. The world of high fantasy will never die in my mind, and I will love it until I die. I can easily imagine being 80 and still playing these games.

90/150 go me.

For those who live alone, Sabbath observance
Lakumi replied to Sunday21's topic in General Discussion
Yeah but if I am tired then absolutely nothing is being retained, it might as well be in Russian cause nothing's going in the brain and I am just turning pages. -
Do kids even know how to climb a tree before? Anyone who didn't know was ostrasized for being lazy or fat. Sure it was kind of mean, but these kids did nothing but sit around all day playing video games (the ones who could afford them) they could never keep up with us and our games. Sometimes we just thought hey lets go pick rasberries, or, lets go to the big hill and make a fort in the forest. There was no adults, there was no "oh call us at so and so time" it was "be home by dark" Mom cut the cable in the summer and we were outside.

In the summertime (on any decent day) we were out playing hockey. Usually we took food and water with us. I still remember getting a stick or two to the face (being the goalie and the fact I didn't wear a helmet) helmets were expensive and so were plastic sticks, we all had wood. I did wear a mask in the winter, though we seldom played with pucks since no one had proper equipment.

Yes thank you, I am not on the ball today it would seem.

that was probably a poor word but I couldn't think of any others... text has that disadvantage sometimes.

"Good Girl Syndrome" within marriage
Lakumi replied to prisonchaplain's topic in Marriage and Relationship Advice
I already know there's something wrong with my psyche lol Believe you me. The old saying goes "misery loves company" sometimes the thoughts get out, sometimes I am not the life of the party, what can you do... -
oh anime's... I remember when I was a kid seeing Akira (back then all anime was usually put in the kids section, even if it wasn't for kids) it was terrifyingly awesome! And then there was Samurai Pizza Cats and Dragonball Z (I've only seen 1 other anime where punching people is done better, and that is of course, Fist of the North Star)

When it comes to spiritual matters, there is far less to go on, for me anyways. It is just a belief in the things I am told are true-I am supposed to trust that person saying these things is being truthful and that say God really spoke to them, etc, where as with things like gravity or evolution I don't have to trust anyone, their work speaks for itself. If someone doesn't accept that Joseph Smith is a Prophet, they can't really be LDS can they? But if someone hated Charles Darwin, well that doesn't make evolution any less real, nor would it shape your idea of it, if you were a rational person.

Word of Wisdom and marijuana. Very serious.
Lakumi replied to TStevieRob's topic in General Discussion
It's not seen as a cure, but as treatment for things such as some cancers (gives one the desire to eat, helps relieve pain, etc) and it doesn't have some of the nastier side effects of the accepted medication. I'd trust marijuana before I trust those other medications... But ultimately my existance is worth more to me then really anything else. And when faced with my own mortality, who's to say what I would do to prolong it. People face death in all sorts of ways. -
"Good Girl Syndrome" within marriage
Lakumi replied to prisonchaplain's topic in Marriage and Relationship Advice
I don't want to feel shame and guilt in marriage, it's supposed to be happy isn't it? Ontop of all the other bad things marriage seems to have, sounds like the worst thing I could do with my life -
My ball jointed dolls, they cost hundreds and don't really do anything but sit there/stand there lol

I considered making the appropriate "end of the world shoulder pads" but it's been real hard getting the spikes secure. To me that's the only thing I'll need if the world ends, everything else nature can give to me.

No I understood what you meant so I moved on in the conversation
