  1. I shy away from saying I know something, I believe in things. For example, I believe in a higher power, I believe the Book of Mormon has great things to teach people (as does The Bible, Pearl of Great Price and Doctrine and Covenants). My father always taught me that scripture, even if they weren't true from a historical sense (this came up when I asked about the flood story) they still could teach someone somehing. I, like he, believe they are stories that, may be passed down from a greater being then ourselves (I refuse to think we are alone in the universe, that's a selfish, stupid idea-that we are the best) and can teach us many things if we open our eyes and minds to them. I can't read scripture like I read other books or the words just vanish as soon as they came. I don't know much about the culture, I am not at all a people person and I constantly argue with authority. Church and I don't mix (a lot of things and I don't mix), but I have the scriptures which I do read daily and give my rambling prayers to God.
  2. Point being, there are... better ways to get ones point across. I mean I can have a conversation with any of you about same sex marriage and it remains civil. I don't consider anyone here a bigot. We simply disagree, I could go off on some tangent about "why should I listen to religions I don't believe in (and I don't-why would I?!)" but phrases like that make an argument seem, I donno cheap and crude. You can't talk to someone like that, its not a debate or discussion, just them yelling. Which church does he mean, Christianity as a collective thing?
  3. There's being against something then there's being bigots. I don't and will never consider someone who is merely against same sex marriage a bigot, but saying things like that... yeah bigots, "demonic ideologies" ?! You can't just spout off things and expect nothing to happen, even if its your beliefs. People are gonna react, this goes for, well anyone. If you're in the spotlight, you gotta know people are gonna, well critique what you say, and when you offend a bunch of people calling them demons, yeah I wouldn't want to watch anything with people like that on it.
  4. My direction when it comes to dating is date anyone who says yes lol
  5. waiting for what?
  6. Oddly, yeah-quite often
  7. Yeah William Wallace could shoot fire from his rear lol But yeah rain stopping, rain is beautiful!
  8. True, but I assume by wall you meant the one in Isreal-and there I am certain it's not illegal to preach or be Christian
  9. Oh okay, yeah if it does turn into a Fist of the North Star-sort of wasteland then people will be getting killed and killing left, right and center. I understand all that better now.
  10. Seems a bit harsh to kill someone-in this day and age-for preaching. I would have imagined worst they could get is jail time. But when dealing with powers beyond mortal understanding who can say how others would react.
  11. what 2?
  12. That was a joke don't you worry lol I intend to take it completely seriously. I can't imagine where faeries could ever fit into this anyways lol
  13. What like "why the faerie-dolls wouldn't be LDS" ? Lakumi (the doll) could give a riveting presentation! "The Celestial Kingdom, as I see it, is the worst punishment for a fae! Living forever is a human wish, we live so long that when we finally do pass, we simply wish to take physical form once more and become-truly, a part of the nature we so love. We are born there, live and die there, and to be away from it is an ordeal most foul!" Anyway, first I actually want to write something people would like to read, believe it or not, I am actually capable lol
  14. Gotta pick a good topic though
  15. You will see the voice of the land of horror scream out to all nations!! Na, but seriously I can actually be serious when the situation calls for it, as you may yet see...
  16. I see, I have heard they want to use facebook as a tool to spread the word in the future, as most people just click accept to any friend request they get it's easier to open up the dialogue. Makes sense to me, all my friends have hundreds of friends (most I assume they don't know-I have 16 lol)
  17. So will I still get caffeine withdraws from lack of Pepsi when I die?
  18. what do they do with their facebooks when they're allowed to use them?
  19. I didn't I just wanted to know if there was an article about tarot cards, because psychics and tarot users are often one in the same. It's a similar medium, and both often the neo pagan umbrella of things.
  20. I wonder when I will finally get to move out on my own and live by myself...
  21. Reading that, for some reason, reminded me of The Waltons... that was a good show.
  22. Geez I come from a family of 2. We never had family vacations growing up (my mom hates camping) Though we finally convinced her to go when I was 22. I think the stories my mom tells about her family are fine enough, the mere concept of having that many siblings (or heaven forbid having that many children) is scary.
  23. yeah
  24. You Americans will never truly get Hockey, you may have most of the teams (because you give them a lot more money then Canadians do) but we have its soul.
  25. Having lots of money, I am told children consume food lol
