I think its more then simple acceptance, if someone walked away from their faith, did they really have faith to begin with? I didn't walk away from Catholosism because it was easier, it was because I didn't believe it. I didn't believe what they told me, and there for felt it was a waste of my time. Just because you tell someone that something is the truth, doesn't mean they'll always believe you. -

both parents kind of have to work these days, what with the economy, that and not every woman wants to be a housewife, nor does every husband want to be a breadwinner I enjoy cooking and the like for example, sort of a reverse if I could- but I know if I got married and had a family both of us would need to work, jobs pay less...Or I'd want the kid to have a collage fund or some such thing. -
For me, it took some time, and sometimes I found it very draining and sometimes depressing, but then again my emotional state wasn't exactly strong. Not that "talking" to something calling itself the Lord and Lady of Death is all that positive lol (weither you dreamed it or not)
-
I get most of my inspiration from my dreams, from plots to characters to a whole religion my mind invented (for a book I wrote for nanowrimo) along with its "Gods" whom I "talked to" dreams, for me, are a true gateway to my mind-and what a strange gateway it is:lol:

I can't think of any movie where they "put God in" that I've seen last one I saw was a movie where people with super human strength fought eachother (with the odd magical power here and there) Street Fighter 2 the Anime Movie I can't show you my favourite scene, but lets just say a masked attacker attacks a woman who, after a long and truly epic fight, kicks him threw a brick wall down onto the street below (we never see the guy again so its assumed he is qute dead)

The KKK is a hategroup, you can't tell me they've done any good, or that they deserve anything but the hatred most people have for them. It just seems unlikely churches will loose tax exempt status, now perhaps if churches begun to order the assaults or illegal activities towards other groups, then I can see some loss of rights there. But otherwise...no, I don't see it. The US, for example, is still highly religious, even Canada, which is less religious hasn't done that, and we've legalized same sex marriage 100% -

Mormons don't linch people I am okay if the government steps in on groups that do illegal things. And I do agree that a church shouldn't be made to have to marry someone or change their belief system to conform to society, but they can't expect all of society to conform to their beliefs. There are going to be people who are different, who believe different things. Humanity has always existed with those issues, and the only key to peaceful existance is finding a common road. No utopia was made upon the misery of others. -

I think both sides have to find a common ground where they can both exist, but both seem to want the otherside gone completely... -

That's the way the wind seems to be blowing nowadays, its legal in Canada, has been for like 10 years now...more for some provinces before the nationwide civil marriage act came into being. -

If I left a doll at someone's house and they did what I consider cruel things to it, I'd be furious and probably break something of theirs -

I always described it as feeling empty. I didn't love that girl and she didn't love me...felt pointless I guess, could be the right word -

So is intercourse with someone your not married to a cheap high? Even if you've been together for a long time, perhaps you don't believe in marriage (not religious) one could agree about a one night stand being selfish-no commitment, some become addicted to it
