I already gave a name to my belief system (for when people ask and any documents that ask) like I made up a holiday so I wouldn't get the whole "its Merry Christmas not Happy Holidays" no one said "It's Merry Christmas not Happy Siv Day) But I consider doing things like that fun so... yeah -
still thought they should have used this as the theme, was bummed when they didn't lol

Some are major (such as my belief in what I think God is, the idea of heaven) some are minor (I am so not a morning person so church is something dreaded on that point alone), some are my own oddities (such as anything I am the center of I seem to have an obsession of making it a reflection of myself, putting myself wholly into it rather then doing what everyone else does) -

and you see my problem then, and why it doesn't say Mormon up there What do you do when you'd actually like to be part of a religion but you have different beliefs on some of their teachings? -
Yes, while I was baptized my home wasn't religious at all (my parents were very much under the "find your own path" only reason I went threw the catholic stuff was for my grandparents- well more truthfully, money) So far I don't know if I have found the thing that has clicked, found some that I like, have things about them I like, but at what point do you say "this one is good enough"
-
I would assume that yes, it is easier for someone who's not picked a religion to get one then one who already has one

I have a whole slew of questions about things neither side can answer (and "God works in mysterious ways" or anything along those lines isn't an answer) As I said before, if there is a God, i don't believe it watches me or cares about me, I don't believe I'll go anywhere other then where my ashes are tossed when I die. Religion is going to have a lot of weird questions if we run into a race more evolved then us -
yeah generally if they believe in polygamy, according to wikipedia, they believe in the Adam-God doctrine and what not, mind you I don't know much about them, nor do I pretend to, they don't exactly have a helpful missionary chat to answer my questions:lol:
-
Oh it was the "The Righteous Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" they have polygamy too
-
yeah I know, I know the difference, and its not just the polygamy thing (I think they also have a temple shaped like a pyramid too) but your average person doesn't know the difference between the two
-
that show was so boring, I'd like to see a show about polyamory, leave out the whole religion thing.

though religion doesn't answer some questions with, well any sort of "proof" as some might say (most popular, how did life begin on Earth). I don't believe God was here and made us and looks like us, all that seems very, I donno weird. Like we want to make ourselves feel higher and better, so we give our God our own faces. I think it would be so much beyond that, that in the first seconds of life, the limitless divine was there to give that spark, and we are within that thing-still. It is here all around us. That's the short of it, the two for me always clash, always... -

how do you know you have a testamony? -
it's something all right lol the stories I've written for them are even stranger, if that's possible

Vote Karna/Zephyranthies 2014 Eyes on the Prize, even when we sleep! I agree with what you said btw, to stay on topic.

I woudn't want to scare the missionaries so I didn't give them my facebook (long story short, its for a little doll who routinely "says" mean things and brandishes a little knife at other toys-like my little ponies) its part of a BJD roleplaying, something I don't think any missionary should have to tango with on their mission:lol:

Anytime I discuss religion it seems to come off more like I am telling them facts about something, not really emotionally charged. Though since all but one of my friends are athiests, trying to say religious things to them that don't come off as sounding like facts is probably a bad idea.
-
well you can always ask the online ones, they always got the brunt of my more, odd questions lol
-
I asked them far stranger, I can assure you. They must of thought me an enigma

I am not sure why you married her if that always bothered you, did you think her past was going to just vanish? I can't quite grasp being mad over something like that, to me the past is unchangeable, if she is with me then I won... Unless you let go of that, you'll never work with her. It will only brood more and more. While I've had a lot of dispear (none of it being about marriage mind you) I didn't solve it with religion, so I imagine that's not up your ally. Bottom line, you need help, more help then any stranger on the net can provide, or the future doesn't look kind for you.

Ninja Terminator was the name of the flick SERIOUS WIDESCREEN GARFIELD NINJA ACTION - YouTube I have that phone and I have all those costumes
-
yeah, thankfully I got past that

What about the Book of Mormon? I often found it hard to grasp faith, I often still do, and have a habit of picking and choosing things from several religions (much like politics or really any belief system, since-well I don't feel I can be stuffed into a catagory) I donno, people say that's crazy, but I feel proper with it
-
don't think you can easily bring unbelievers "to God" which according to many places, the numbers of them are growing, which more likely then not is the reason for these changes I've always supported same sex marriage, and there's nothing that would make me change my mind about that. Just like I don't look at someone in religious head gear and feel they should remove it, I feel they have a right to that, even if I believe something completely differently. For years I've been trying to give a name (or find one) for what I believe and I don't think it exists
