  1. oh I am, I just want to post it in large enough chunks, been having a bit of a stumble on what happens at the picnic and I've actually put down several alternate takes.
  2. Life would be so much easier if I was a Q:lol:
  3. If my one wish was already granted, the universe would be mine...so your wishes are then null and void
  4. I never understood the term God-Fearing, and heard it now and again in Catholic school
  5. so many destroyed toys in my elf shelf session...
  6. Only need one... Power of the Siv (think Q from Star Trek)
  7. some ball jointed dolls go well over a thousand dollars
  8. that's just the base doll, and for dolls...that's actually really cheap
  9. shocking no one, a ball jointed doll...not a huge fan of the outfit, but the hobby is anything but limiting in clothes so I'll be fine
  10. Don't know Kipper, but did love the other two there! Strange to have Ringo Starr and George Carlin on a kids show... I had all the toys
  11. I've seen so many parodies of Veggie Tales, but I've never actually seen Veggie Tales
  12. That would have probably been my reaction once upon a time I'm generally nicer now lol
  13. Mine too, I've invented several for novels and... half invented (namely the names) one to explain my own beliefs, and for something different to say around the holidays in my cards
  14. Didn't know where to put this, but there's at least a few of you here... What do you all believe in, do you stray in belief from whatever religion you have, have no religion? Lets have an open dialog
  15. As I said, I have no idea why I never knew that, I mean I seldom went to church and I get the sense our Catholic schools aren't as... I donno devout as some would say they should be... Life went how it went
  16. I assume things have changed, or they don't tell that to school children in my day, who knows
  17. Lakumi

    Awesome!

I watched the Olympics like I do everyday, glad I did... won't say anything yet, just will stand proudly to the Canadian national anthem
  18. I never heard of a 10% tithe thing until rather recently, my Grandparents who are quite Catholic just drop a few dollars in the plate and consider 10% a crazy concept when they were asked. I was never told about that in school (and I went to Catholic School from grade 3-7) Weird...
  19. History will show you that people have a tendancy to take things too far
  20. No... No... I don't have that much faith in people And the alternative is what... gay marriage? Why would you make it legal for someone to not allow black people in their store becuase... some people don't like gays? Not everyone hates gays, but a lot of people hate others...
  21. I got that, using myself as an example, I have no job, thusly no income, I have no money, so couldn't tithe to the church if I was a member because I have no income 10% of 0 is 0
  22. Even still, that could become a new segregation. Anyone able to refuse business or anything with anyone because "I don't like them" How far would it go? I could refuse someone to become a tenant of my home because they're Mormon or Chinese or whatnot? How many "No___" would you see in stores, introducing a mass segregation into society would a frightening idea... Nothing good would ever come from letting people freely hate eachother.
  23. "quoted for truth" to coin a common forum phrase. And there is a difference in someone who simply doesn't agree with something and is even vocal about it, and the one who puts hateful slogans on their lawn. I don't want to live next to that, even if I agree with them. I don't feel doing that is right. It's a negativity I don't want in my life. Besides, if they are fine with proudly displaying things they hate on their lawn, they'll probably come after me- I got lots for people to hate.
  24. basically what you wanna do is get a book called Gospel Principles, it gives you a good run down of everything, and I assume it's free since the church gave me one.
