Can anyone help me find material for nonmembers?
Lakumi replied to CiVi's topic in General Discussion
its a book I believe called Gospel Principles, they gave it to me one day easy enough read, nothing to heavy imo -
yep I refuse to personally associate with them. And sad to say they seem to be the only girls my age on the dating scene
-
you'd think after the first one they'd figure it out and... I donno use protection? but no, this town seems to not understand they exist and has a very high rate of single mothers. And I refuse to chalk that up to lack of knowledge, every one of them has a cell phone with the internet on it If you're 20 and already have 2 kids (with two different men), perhaps you need to rethink your life
-
a lot of people are stupid where I live there is an overabundance of single mothers methinks its all lust for them, like house cats or something
-
eh not with my parents they aren't the sort of people who can just get into a car without a plan having children, both of us, was very planned. And they seem proud of the fact whenever I bring that up:lol:

to go into space I will only need my bat'leth

Oddly enough that's when "Lakumi on the Shelf" takes place, and I wanted to know a bit of how the church functioned back then, how different was it? Was Christmas different then too?
-
Vinayaka's Christmas Story would be a bit more strange-and by a bit I mean truly insane, due to what he is and his powers
-
Vinayaka is a boy, lol and only Lakumi does the Fae on the Shelf, since the story I wrote is starring her lol And I wouldn't say the fae on the shelf show off positivity and Christ like feelings. More "don't mess with the supernatural or bad things will befall you!"
-
Not really sure how my newest doll, Vinayaka, can be used for Christlike things...
-
yeah some people are the opposite, but that's not the real point here. I think its learning what resonates with your mind and what doesn't. Learning to go the right path, and how you as a person can go down it.

I'm a newlywed ...Should I get divorced?
Lakumi replied to leo91's topic in Marriage and Relationship Advice
No I think commitement is something we choose, I didn't choose to fall for that girl who didn't love me back. If it was a choice I wouldn't keep falling for people who don't love me back, why would I choose that?! When I knew full well they hated my guts or saw me as a piece of trash? -
a brony is a fan of the My Little Pony franchise (more specifically the Generation 4 incarnation-Friendship is Magic)
-
I had long hair when I first went to church, though no one ever made any comment about it
-
I more meant movies not tv, though to be fair those movies are American, (I don't watch much tv) but the more I think about it, yeah you're right, point goes to you

yeah here in Canada we are taught violence is pretty fine but nudity is bad I have no issue with nudity or violence, but if I were to choose a movie-one or the other, nudity over violence I have seen violent movies I have been put off of, but not ones with nudity (saying that, the violence I normally watch is in anime so... its a lot less realistic)

Despite its nudity, Big Love was utterly boring Couldn't get into Gane of Thrones either, nudity can't carry a show for me, not before and not now lol head explosions on the other hand...

Canada has lots of water, though I wouldn't wanna drink from the local river, I'd just drive to... somewhere-anywhere, in the middle of nowhere (which Canada has more then enough of) and gather it there.

Joseph Smith's teachings equate with modern cosmology

Kolob is a star right? And it was described as being very large and old? (which is impossible for a star since the largest ones burn out the fastest) Maybe it wasn't a star maybe that's all someone in the 1800s could comprehend something like that, who knows? -
No, I think you are happy to see them happy. One does not have to support the origin of the joy to appreciate the joy the person now feels.

Tell me something unique about where you live :)

That Hour of Power show enraged me as a child- instead of cartoons, it was that. Made the list of "Why I Hate Sunday's" as a kid:lol: -

There was quite a few factories here, like much of Ontario, but they're all gone now. People often joke of this being one of Canada's bible belts, though the shrinking population (combined with the rapidly aging population) will change that methinks. -
But yeah the US is strange like that, from an outsider's point of view
