  1. well they'll never say creationism is how it happened, since there's no actual science to it
  2. girls always love to say that, I have never gotten a date from any of my "friends" they'd be repulsed if I asked them out (and have told me so, just out of the blue-seems nowadays a lot of young women see the men in their friendzone as utter trash, worthy only to be the host to their vampiric needs) and people like that are vampires! taking and never giving back. That's not friendship, though the term can be confusing. I always have a simple solution for the friend zone, just never speak to her again. There won't be any fun times, she's not really you're friend (since there is a difference between friendship and friend zone) and its just agonizing for you.
  3. I wrote the book about Lakumi "Lakumi in your House" though I think it would make a better Halloween book then a Christmas book, Lakumi seems kind of scary-the cover I drew is her glaring down on some terrified kid in bed, eyes aglow. Maybe on Halloween I'll think of a good Christmas idea
  4. seems everytime I come here, either I get blatantly insulted, or my beliefs do you'd think I'd expect it by now
  5. I donno, seems like he was killing people or commanding people to get killed left, right and center in the old testament Didn't he command the Hebrews to kill the Canaanites after they wandered the desert?
  6. I hope I survive those end times and become really strong, if it gets all Fist of the North Star I might as well try and enjoy it. All one hears about religion is what divides, who they hate and what they don't want you to do. Religions get a really bad reputation, a lot of which is undeserving. It can and does a lot of good for people, but one must be careful because it can be a tool of man as well, and God is not man's tool.
  7. Man likes to use God as a tool to control other men, to rule over them with fear and anger, all the while stripping away rights in the name of a God they invented. A God they use as a weapon God cannot be wielded as a weapon.
  8. If I get married I'm taking her name
  9. Yeah my favourite movie has a scene where a guy walks threw a skyscraper as it falls ontop of him, to save a little girl. He then proceeds to crush a mans skull with his bare hand and hit three other guys so hard they explode. I got that movie for free at an anime store (it was on VHS)... Violence is a part of life, we kill to survive.
  10. I was more referring to Wiccan magic which is more about controlling energy and what not, as meditation and the like does. Energy is a real thing, different people call it different things but it's all the same thing.
  11. I picked Lakumi, which is another name for the Hindu Goddess of Prosperity (and a small doll I own)
  12. Of course its real, just not in the faeries and wizards sort of way
  13. I could write it, faeries are my specialty
  14. just like an elf to be inferior, needing wires when Lakumi has ball joints
  15. she's probably the least creepy of the faerie dolls though I really should write a book... though I am not sure its angle, karma maybe? always be afraid of faeries? I donno don't not give thanks to the little magical girl who lives in your pantry and steals from you? They have nothing to do with Christ or Christmas
  16. if you read faerie mythology they are pretty spiteful, mischievous little creatures-and Lakumi is no different. They didn't give her anything for cleaning their shoes, so they had to pay!
  17. Lakumi on the shelf! Upon her arrival, she cleaned everyone's shoes, however, payment was not given, so on the next one, she stole every shoe lace in the house and cut them up, leaving them as warning! The next day, the humans saw this, and paid their thanks to their resident faerie with butter and honey, so the next night, Lakumi replaced all the shoe laces and returned several socks she had taken.
  18. really? it's a book too? Jeez I gotta get in on this. Except Faeries don't care about Santa or your behaviour, they are often just jerks because of some perceived or real wrong... sometimes they help-but you have to pay! "Lakumi's in Your House!" (or some such thing)
  19. But seriously, my parents were extremely against rising me in a religious home, they felt I should figure out my beliefs much as they had done. And they are on the kinder end of the family's opinions (usually ranges from uncaring in general to complete disgust of organized religion, and in some people, atheism) But above all, there was an encouragement to seek ones own answers and one's own path in my house, a I said. And I don't think I would be the human being I am today if it wasn't for that, and I thank them for it.
  20. it's not about removing it, when I was a lad, oh my did I say some awful things. And not only did I say them, out and about with friends, but I'd write crude stories and a comic with all the swears under the sun. And, at least for me, stopped when people around me stopped caring. It wasn't shocking anymore, and that's why I was all "outrageous" to be shocking. Kids all wanna "be cool" and usually cool is not something you should hope for (being crude, and embarrassing to look back upon-of you grow up, not everybody does) While I don't have any Priesthood (and as a teenager was an atheist) I still try and live my life with a respect for others. No one wants to really associate with crude, disrespectful people-except other crude, disrespectful people-and friendships in a destructive environment never last. I learned that too.
  21. I have something kind of like that, faeries and elves are natural enemies so when I put it up, I often put Clover (a faerie doll) behind it with her little sword, I also put her behind My Little Ponies so that's nothing new.
  22. know and understand are two very different things. I know my family, but I don't understand them-I don't understand anybody. Never have, never will. I did not say I felt no one could know him, but understand-because the sheer idea of the divine is, well just that, a power that is beyond true comprehension. So I guess I meant more understand what he is, truly is in the grand scale of everything. No human should be able to understand how God works and does things, like one would a superhero or something. It's like saying man knows God's will-its all up to faith there, that the revelations man has been given is true, and not made up.
  23. In Canada its far harder then that, one has to get a licence, register them if they fall under certain classifications, and of course store them a certain way (locked unloaded, ammunition locked, in separate box) There are a bunch of more stricter laws depending on what sort of gun it is. Here, it is not your right to own a gun.
  24. I'll tell you what my mother told me "you have your own money, why are you asking me?!" (I had a job starting at about 10, in the summer, got actual cheques and everything...) My dad would just laugh. There was no just asking for toys, nor were there lame chores, my parents thought of things, hard things.
