  1. Ricki and the Flash... we almost walked out in the first 15 minutes due to the family arguing so much. It ended out being an "okay" movie. Not one I would ever watch again even if it was for free.
  2. This is not a healthy relationship. Sounds like you were pretty clear about things and she totally disrespected you. Move on.
  3. My MIL is bedridden since December and has not been in church for at least 8 years due to other physical limitations...She also had a calling until just recently when her mental health took a turn for the worse... but, she holds a current Temple Recommend. The Bishop's First Counselor came to the house last week to renew her recommend and the Stake President will come to talk with her and sign it. She has not been to the Temple in at least 10 or more years but she still feels the blessings of holding the recommend. They come every Sunday to give her the Sacrament. As far as attending the full block... When my husband is working, (he works out of town and/or out of the state)... we go to Sacrament and leave right after to drive to where he is working. So there are times that we do not attend the full block for over a year or more. We drive home each weekend to take care of things at home. We both hold current recommends and attend the Temple on a regular basis. There are circumstances and the Bishop would be the one to let you know the answer to your question.
  4. My dad was a HAM radio operator and my daughter got her license at the age of 10... smart little girl she was and is. I never had an interest in it...but, maybe I should. LOL
  5. Mr. Holmes. This was a slow pace movie...but, it was AWESOME!
  6. Date night... went to see Ant Man. We loved it. If you go ... make sure you stay through the credits.
  7. Minions. Really fun movie. Husband even started singing to me the first song in Minions.. Happy Together. I'm sure those in front of us heard him singing. I was all mushy over him singing to me. LOL
  8. First time I've seen it. Stupid...yet funny. I watched a few others while I was there...like the one for how long will it take to drive 80 miles if I am driving 80 mph. Oh DUH!
  9. Marriage is hard enough without taking a boat load of baggage into it to begin with. Maybe try to think about someone... anyone that has done you wrong even a little bit. Now think about the process of trying to forgive that person and not carrying that baggage with you of the hurt you felt. Forgiveness can be a hard thing to do even for some small things. NOW... think about your fiance and what he has done to you....said to you.... the hurt that felt like. That's some big stuff going on there. Did it stop with only a couple kisses? This is a older and married woman. Did it go further? Is he really telling you the whole truth? Can you really forgive him and go on with a life with this person that started out after only a few months of being engaged to ending up being with another woman, even if it only was a few kisses? What about when you think about how he told you that he thought he was losing feelings for you. Whenever anything goes wrong in the marriage... AND IT WILL... will it trigger the incident and the hurt start over again? Or will it be something that you will bring up again and again only causing more problems? All marriages, even the best have stuff happen where things need to be worked out...compromises made, and forgiveness asked. But, please don't start your walk with this person when things have already gone down the wrong path.
  10. If that were the case, my daughter would be a gazillionaire. She is probably the most righteous woman I know... yet she is dirt poor in material things... but, blessed abundantely in spiritual things.
  11. I have no idea either. I woke up this morning in a full blown asthma attack and didn't make it to church. Prayers welcomed.
  12. We took time for each other today Been remodeling the house...and needed the break. Thought about the meaning of the day. Went out to a movie then home for husband to BBQ steak and crab. Watch fireworks on tv... only because they had fireworks in our town last night. It was a wonderful day. Will have the family over tomorrow to celebrate and have our own fireworks.
  13. When I was teaching once a month and had to be away for whatever reason... I would just call a sub teacher to teach for that one time for that month. Or switch with another teacher...but, I usually just did the sub without switching because I found that most of the teachers don't like to switch. Family first!
  14. MAX.... husband and I both loved it. But, we kept comparing our dog (lab) with Max saying oh Bebee can run faster than that. Bebee can jump higher than that. Bebee could find those explosives faster than that.... hahahaa ... Bebee is our little girl dog.
  15. Inside Out. This was such a cute movie. My husband and I started laughing at one part and we got the giggles to bad that we couldn't stop laughing every time we looked at each other even though the funny part was over. This little girl, about 6 years old turned around and GLARED at us. Made us laugh even harder.
  16. No bucket list for us. We just roll with what comes our way.
  17. In the past 5 years we only missed going to Conference this last one. We love going. The spirit is strong. And, you just might get to shake the hand of the Prophet! No... I didn't get to do that...but, I was at the rope right next to where they were all leaving and he waved. LOL The downside is... if you don't like crowds, if you can't walk far (parking is usually pretty far), lots of stairs (they do have elevators, but not to all floors as far as I know). If you have the chance to go... I would do it. Of course you need to get tickets so talk to the person in your ward that gets them to hand out.
