  1. If you don’t like sophomoric pranks, college football isn’t for you.
  2. We love you here bro.
  3. Thank God.
  4. Hindsight is 20/20 with everyone, including myself. Looking back, both Harris and Walz had major problems. She thought she could win by just not being Trump. They also just assumed that Latino men would vote for her like they did for Obama. You Ma’am, are no Obama.
  5. @Vort-you and I both enjoy combat sports. Have you ever seen Tate fight?
  6. As a kickboxer, he was actually very good. As a man, the devil wouldn’t spit on him.
  7. Complete agreement.
  8. You make fine points, as always. I do think the MSM is pretty much cooked though. All you have to do is look at the viewership of the nightly news (circa 6 million) and compare it to the Joe Rogan podcast (about 11 million).
  9. It’s a moot point now I guess because he won.
  10. Correct, I said it. Simply put, if it was just cheating that won in 2020, why didn’t they just do it again if that was it?
  11. You and I have been wrong about many things, especially lately. I do remember us talking about Latinos walking away from the left though
  12. Oh, agree. This shoots down their theory that the left cheated in 2020. It’s also fun to see the left come to grips with the fact that they lost women, Hispanic men and are also losing African-American men. https://youtu.be/90WD_ats6eE?si=y0_5ZKIHukS1jc3m
  13. Pretty much the one thing that everyone agrees with is that Trump has moral lapses. We all do of course, but he’s had….issues. Very very few of us here would be proud of him if he was our dad or son.
  14. What influence? The left just got shellacked. They lost pretty much everything. Conservatives are about to have an existential crisis. They can no longer play the victim because they are clearly in the majority. So that means no more whining about “the liberal media influence.” It doesn’t exist anymore and this election shows it. 60+ years of conservative whining just ended.
  15. That’s a good thing, and I’m not kidding. If some wanna be tough guy tries to assault a member of the LGBTQ community who is carrying a 45 it won’t end well.
  16. Agree-but with a caveat. For comedy to be funny generally someone has to be in some form of misery. I totally agree it’s cruel to just point and laugh though.
  17. Agree fully on that one.
  18. All legit.
  19. I can’t imagine in my wildest dreams any conservative here- @zil2, @Vort, @mirkwood, @Carborendum-being cool with that kind of language. I think conservatives get wrongly accused of being racist and liberals are wrongly accused of being unpatriotic.
  20. This is, of course, unsolicited business advice but you should be highly skeptical when someone says their “real motive” in opening/purchasing/creating a company is love, free speech, social justice, or anything other than making money. If you don’t put that first, regardless of how rich you are, it’ll end in disaster. Of course it tugs on your heartstrings when you agree with the cause. I’d love to open a charity providing sports gear to poor people. But it would be impossible to maintain. Ask the leftwingers who tried to open up a talk radio network in the 2000’s to compete with Rush/Beck/Hannity. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_America_(radio_network) The opposite is true too. If I open a pro life t shirt company and focus more on the topic rather than a profit, I’ll find myself in ruins shortly.
  21. I admire Musk. He’s a very savvy businessman. Like all of them, he’s mainly concerned with making money. That’s a good thing, a very good thing actually. By making money you employ more people, giving them health insurance and allowing them to pursue their own interests. I’m a raw capitalist when it comes to that. But I’m not naive. Even if he had other reasons to buy Twitter/X, he absolutely, 100% cares about profit. Or at least he should. His employees would be irritated if he suddenly stopped caring about profits.
  22. Right, and he got that way by not wasting money. If you want to believe he was the noble white knight riding his horse to save the day, fine. But I’m almost certain his long term goal is to make money. And there’s nothing wrong with that. In fact, making a profit is a good thing.
  23. How do you know this? Did he tell you? Twitter cost a TON of money. I highly doubt he bought it out of cuddliness and compassion for the right.
  24. Don’t fall into what I call the “Disney trap”. Reading one or two things about the companies finances and then proclaiming the status of the company like a grizzled expert stockbroker. The right did this with Nike. Target. Disney. Harley Davidson….
  25. It has showed us that old school data and analysis poly sci guys have become obsolete. Conventional wisdom has been thrown out the door. For now anyway.
