Are you serious? These soldiers put their lives on the line every day and you have the nerve to sit behind your computer and claim that they are brainwashed!! My father was in Korea and Nam, My brother served in the first Desert storm. And many other family and friends have also served, so that you can have the freedom to express you opinion. You should at least have the descency not to try and degrade them, even if you don't agree with them being there!

So if I'm reading this right you are saying that God is one is Spirit but three seperate entitys or beings? That they are one in their desire for us and the completion of their plan, yet appear to us as three seperate individuals? Did I read that right?

As a person with a Temper and a wife who knows how to push my buttons, let me try to help a little. My wife and I have been on the edge of divorce a few times. The 8 yrs. proir to coming into the church were the worst and only me working away from home saved our marriage. Now I work 5 minutes from home and sometimes thing can get hairy. The one thing I have notice above all else, is that when I am doing what I have been counselled to do, thing seem much easier. I don't think that they are easier, I think that having the spirit with me makes it easier to compromise and work with my wife to further our relationship. We have been counselled to put Family first, that mean your spouse and children come before you. There are times when This seems really hard but I know with all my heart, when I worry about the needs of others, whether its my wife, my kids or the nieghbor, my problems seem to lessen. I can focus better on what is important. What I really desire is peace and happiness, not the new computer or car. I hope some of this makes some sense. I wish you all the best and hope that you can find common ground in the Lord to base your relationship on.

Yes, you can. My wife and I were married for 8 years before we went to the Temple.

The written word, each of us tend to interrupt in our own ways. With a living Prophet and Apostles we can get clarification and understand their direct wording better. Though there are still folks out there that like to interrupt their words too. IMHO. :)

Read the verse carefully to me it is saying that if you don't accept Jesus as the Son of God and sent by God, then you have given yourself to the devil. Basically your become one of his children because you are following his teachings. Sorry but it looks pretty clear to me.

That we are all son and daughters of God and that we have our agency to follow the plan that he set forth or to follow satan. If we rebel against God and his plan then we give ourselves to the powers of the devil. There are really only two choices in this.... either we are with the Father or we are not...

I had to laugh the other day when a gentleman came to ask me for help with a problem he was having and he saw me doing some work that was outside my normal field. He asked me all surprised like how it was that I knew how do what I was doing. (minor carpenter work, I'm an electrician by trade). I told him that in my family growing up, you either built it yourself or you repaired it, basically did whatever it took to get the coon. Or you went without... Now remember I'm the spoiled one in my family so my brothers and sisters are alot better at this then me and I know that I can call them and ask all the questions I want.... well at least until I annoy them completely. :)

Why would God need factories?? He has the power to create worlds from chaos?!! The fact that he gave the family of Lehi a physical device doesn't even come close to proving that "God travels in space craft". But it does prove that they still had to have faith in Him for it to work, so even though they had a device to show them the way, they still had to exercise faith in order for it to show them and tell them what they need to know and do. I am probably misunderstanding your statement Traveler, I do that quite often! :) But are you saying that we shouldn't try to clear up misunderstandings in the scriptures or to call people to repentance? Are we just to preach the gospel of Christ through our actions?? I'm not trying to start a fight or get off topic, just trying to understand which direction you are coming from and going to. Thanks
