Moksha Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 You would need to put Yoda in a suit and tie for a true comparison.. Quote
Moksha Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 Is this true: Mormons can only go to the McDonalds in their ward boundaries unless they have permission by the Stake President? Quote
FunkyTown Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 Is this true: Mormons can only go to the McDonalds in their ward boundaries unless they have permission by the Stake President? Completely true. Mormons on vacation will oftentimes carry their church records with them so, when they go to a new city, they can temporarily move within the ward boundaries of whatever McDonald's they want to go to.Also, Mormons are required to listen to at least twenty minutes of Osmond's songs on every road trip that includes at least an hour of driving.Plus, if you're going to baptize a non-English Speaker without the War Mission Leader's permission, you must ensure the lake contains no devilfish or sewage valves going in to it. This is to maintain the purity of the baptism.PS: I'm making all of this stuff up. I wasn't going to put this, but I realized I didn't want to read 15 years from now about how Mormons all have to listen to the Osmonds. Quote
Maya Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 NO 2 HOURS of Osmonds at LEAST! Definately! :) Quote
Jamie123 Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 I'm making all of this stuff up.Awwww....and I was about to call the missionaries about having myself baptised! Now I'm disillusioned.... Quote
FunkyTown Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 Oh my gosh, Jamie. I just realized you're from London in the UK. I live in Egham. I know a few University Professors from 'round there who teach at the Institute of Religion near Hyde Park. Quote
Donna Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 I would say skip Mc Donalds and listen more to The Osmonds Quote
Moksha Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 Is it truth or myth, that "by their fry sauce ye shall know them"? Quote
prospectmom Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 no it is by their funeral potatoes and lime jello Quote
pam Posted July 24, 2009 Report Posted July 24, 2009 Also, Mormons are required to listen to at least twenty minutes of Osmond's songs My sister must have been a VERY staunch Mormon even as a teenager because we had to listen to Donny over and over and over and over. Quote
Carl62 Posted July 24, 2009 Report Posted July 24, 2009 I would say skip Mc Donalds and listen more to The OsmondsAs long as it's rockin' Osmonds, then it ain't too shabby. Crazy Horses, Gotta Get Love, The Last Days and a couple of others are actually some cool hard rockin' pieces. I even read somewhere that Def Leppard does Crazy Horses live. The Donny and Marie stuff you can have though. Quote
glow_inthe_dark_girl Posted July 24, 2009 Author Report Posted July 24, 2009 oops may be I need to go to my bishop as I went to another mc donald's that wasn't in my area lol ... who are the osmonds? Quote
