Since it is possible to win one by just saying what you would like to do let's hear your ideas. This is not to become a President Obama bashing thread. I would like to see what ideas we can come up with to win a Peace Prize or a Science Prize or a Literature Prize. I would like to discover real Cold Fusion. Rather then trying to find a way to pay Drs and drug companies to treat and manage diseases i would rather see more effort put fourth to prevent it. I would treat the fastest growing and number 2 preventable cause of death ,obesity, like the number 1 smoking. No more cartoons and toys enticing our kids to eat crap. I think it's a shame we have gone so far to combat smoking with bans on advertising while putting fast food joints in schools due to the kick backs they give. I would like to see more insurance programs paying for personal training then gastric bypass and implants. Quote

Bring their armies into one federal army responsible for defending the entire nation from outside forces. Quote

We've made tons of progress on cancer, there's prevention medicine out there now for a few of them, but it would be really cool when we can finally talk about cancer like influenza. Paul Harvey said it best, many years ago. "If you want to lose weight, burn more calories than you take in".But it should be all about "if you want to lose weight".On most charts, I'm eighty ponds over weight. When I was seeing a Doctor about H-pylori, and losing a lot of weight, the Doctor asked me "don't you feel much better, now that you lost all that weight"? I gave it some thought and in all honesty, I did not feel better. My answer really upset this Doc.I know that my weight is not right for everyone my height. And you know what? I don't care about your weight. I also find it funny how if any part of your is in pain, you go see a Doctor. If your stomach has pain, you call it a diet.Anyway, I think that you have a good shot at the prize (I don't know which, science or peace). Quote

This supergene will be be transmitted through the air, and every human on the planet will receive it within a week of its release. -Devise a 12-step program to overcome all human weaknesses and failings that will always work and will always be implemented. There's several winners who have won with words. Some of them won with words when their actions said something completely different.
