Movies that feature Mormon characters.

Last night I saw Georgia Rule and it had Mormon characters in it. I thought it was interesting.

What other movies also feature Mormon characters that you guys know of?

I know Yes Man does for a very brief moment and I also know of The Other Side of Heaven.

Please don't include offensive movies like Orgazmo (Naive young Mormon Joe Young is recruited to act in porn movies).

I cannot think of any movies off the top of my head that were not meant to be Mormon movies (i.e Singles Ward). However, the TV show Yes Dear had an episode where the missionaries tracked into them and the rest of the episode was about them.

But the Mormon aids the enemy (depending on how you look at it) and it's pretty inferior if you have seen Saving Private Ryan.

i saw a movie the otherday, I think it was called "knowing"? it didnt actuly say that the caractors were mormaon, but "together forever" and b=dealing with the death of a loved one was a realy big theme. (along with the end of the world)

House had a mormon character (whom i didnt care for) who also happened to be black and a single father.

I know you said to keep the movies clean but i help but say in South park everyone in heaven was LDS!

They were mentioned frequently in the movie though, even if there weren't any LDS characters.

I freaking lived by that movie when I was 16. Of course at the time I didn't actually understand the themes of the movie, I just wanted to be a real punk rocker like SteveO and his friends.

The movie "Millions" has LDS missionaries in it. Although I always thought it was funny how they were portrayed.

In the movie Deep Impact, Nasa astronaut who goes to thwart off a comet is LDS. Even his space ship is named Messiah.

I haven't seen that movie in forever, but I do remember that. If I recall, it's implied that he's LDS. The ship is called "Messiah" because their mission is to save the human race. That one astronaut is referred to a few times about his wife and kid being with family in Utah, or something like that, I think. I should watch it again, because I haven't seen it in too long.

The first one it lists is Ocean's Eleven. I love "the Mormon Twins" who are neither very Mormon nor very twin-like. Lol.

I also loved this version of Pride and Prejudice. I thought it was funny.

And the fact that the "characters" listed as LDS in SLC Punk are "Salt Lake City."

Most of the films on that page are actually LDS-themed films, though.

I haven't seen it since the first year it came out. But they never say he's LDS but it's implied in many ways.

I cant remember what Its called but The was a movie on the BYU channel and it was based in Utah, plus three of the main characters are boy scouts, the others a girl, so Im assuming that they were Mormons but it was based on finding out what really happened to Butch Cassedy, It was a really good movie to

There was also "September Dawn" which didn't do well at all at the box office. Even the most rabid anti-Mormons didn't see this film, so it must have been really bad.
