Maya Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 Hi from Norway... what country? So officially: Welcome to LDS.net. You will find here an ecclectic mix of LDS and some non-members. While the site is dedicated to the Gospel, and to promoting the Church to a world that often does not understand us, we also make room for conversations about current events, and about social and cultural practices within the Church. If your main desire is to learn about the Church, consider starting with the "Learn About Mormonism" forums. For more advanced teachings, that will often include a variety of perspectives, some non-LDS, consider the Gospel section of forums. While you are welcome to all main sections, be aware this site makes room for a variety of opinions and personalities. Some posters can be passionate about their views, and occasionally more so about them than about the souls of visitors. If you find something particularly offensive, feel free to make a report by clicking the appropriate tab. Quote

Nikkie85 Posted January 16, 2010 Report Posted January 16, 2010 Hello! Congrats on getting baptized! I was baptized on October 28 06 and it has been a wonderful experience! I am the only member on my side of the family and it has been a struggle. I am blessed to have my husbands side of the family because they are all members. I am sure you will make lots of friends in your ward and get to know more people! Quote
LizK Posted January 16, 2010 Report Posted January 16, 2010 Welcome Hells to your new gospel family. I was the only member of my family in the Church for nearly 15 years before my sister joined the Church. My church family more than made up with the support I needed during those lonesome years when I couldn't get my own family to understand the choice I made when I chose the LDS church. When your family witnesses the change in you, they will eventually appreciate what the Church and the Gospel does for you in your life and, who knows, may even want a piece of the action for themselves. Take care and God Bless you. Enjoy your baptism. Quote

Elphaba Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 I like the name "Hells." That is not necessarily a ringing endorsement since I am no longer a member of the Church. But, just had to say it. Elphaba Quote
Moksha Posted January 21, 2010 Report Posted January 21, 2010 Howdy Hells. Hey, are you into jewlery? The reason I ask is because I had a flashback to Dante Aligheri, and it occurred to me that if Hells had rings, a CTR ring should be amongst them. Peace and Moon Rocks :) Quote
Mariano MARINI Quote
RanMan Posted January 24, 2010 Report Posted January 24, 2010 Gosh, and here I was expecting an exciting story about being named hells. But your welcome anyway. :) Quote
marianomarini Posted January 24, 2010 Report Posted January 24, 2010 Gosh, and here I was expecting an exciting story about being named hells. But your welcome anyway. :)You are right, but I made a mistake into my first post!I was thinking to post into "Italian forum" topic. But if you want an exciting story I can satisfy you.I have a 27 years old son, unmarried, mission done, ready to married. Just only one miss: "a girl"!So Helen (I'm not enough friend to call her Hells) will be a good candidate but .... where she came from?Mistery and suspense. To be continued ....Sorry for my bad English.
