MorningStar Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 I couldn't stop smiling when I saw this. I'm proud of Brandon! People made assumptions that he was ex-Mormon and that bothered him. It's wonderful to see him as a dad. Quote
ConvinceTheWorld Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 thank you for that...i was listening to "The Killers - A dustland fairy tale" before work today.... Honestly, being LDS you notice certain things in his lyrics that have a significant meaning that might not to someone else.... Quote
pam Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 I always wondered why they use a negative name when he doesn't want to be negative. Quote
MorningStar Posted October 16, 2011 Author Report Posted October 16, 2011 I think Brandon has grown a lot and I don't know the reason behind their band name. I love that he was willing to do this so people know for sure that he is definitely Mormon despite the difficulties he has. Quote
Vort Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 I always wondered why they use a negative name when he doesn't want to be negative. It's a killer band, Pam. Quote
BenRaines Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 He was in my ward in Las Vegas a few years back. Very nice guy. Ben Raines Quote
Saguaro Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 I was very excited to see this. In addition to The Killers he came out with a solo album last year that is very good. This helps show that Mormons can be an inclusive and diverse group. The youtube video already has over 100K views in just 6 days, that's more than most of the other videos that have been up for months. Quote
MorningStar Posted October 19, 2011 Author Report Posted October 19, 2011 I think it would be hilarious if Jon Heder did one and said, "I'm Jon. I'm an actor. And I'm a Mormon. GOSH!!!!" Oh please let Jon Heder do one. Please please please please. Quote
Blackmarch Posted October 24, 2011 Report Posted October 24, 2011 I always wondered why they use a negative name when he doesn't want to be negative. The term also is slang for something that blows away the competition. Quote
