Responding to disappointment with SCOTUS, POTUS, and Congress

Every day there is a portion of my praying that goes like this:  Lord grant our church and political leaders the wisdom of Solomon and Joseph.  Use Caesar (government) to prosper and protect your church, and your church to prosper and protect this land. 

 

Many feel that Caesar may be growing increasingly hostile towards the church.  If so, let us double our prayers, and work even more faithful for the protection (spiritual and physical) of this land!

While the Republican selections for SCOTUS have not been uniformly strong, the Democrat appointees have been uniformly nightmarish. And let's not forget what the Democrat Congress did to Judge Bork, possibly the most qualified SCOTUS nominee in the last sixty years.

The new slavery in the United States is forcing someone to serve someone else even if they claim it is against their religious beliefs.

One party does place better judges than the other--pretty consistently.  I vote for them.  However, the standard LDS response of doing even more good works, so as to shame critics is excellent.  Perhaps even more needful in these last days is to start wearing out our knee pads in prayer.
