hmm...then how did Fred Thompson end up with his wife?

Guess there are always exceptions I suppose but it does explain how Dennis Kunincich wound up with this woman who is more than 30 years younger.

Or how many women go ape over this guy

Interesting study -- just seems to replicate others I have read:

Okay, boyish looks coupled with being older, being healthy and having thinner facial features...

Confirms what my family history charts seem to indicate as well! :D

I guess that could explain how Barak Obama was able to woo and marry

Michelle Obama, who is an exceptionally accomplished woman. We would

be very lucky to have her as our First Lady.

Is that President Putin?

I prefer my part-Russian men to look more like this:

Not everyone's cup of tea, I know, but still yummy to me Steven Tyler of Aerosmith! :D

So Steve Irkle look-alikes can get pretty women as well! However, I'd rather have Mrs. Putin as our First Lady than Obama's wife -- nothing personal about her, just her husband is way too liberal and kinda kookie (invade Pakistan???? Sex education for pre-schoolers????).

And I certainly would not like Bill Clinton to be our first lady. However, if he were, and was still making it with younger, more attractive and probably nicer women than Hillary, would that make him a virtual lesbian?

(invade Pakistan.....do you realize how much stuff we import from Pakistan?.....invade too many countries and Americans may have to go back to work making that stuff! LOL Don't waste tax dollars on a new sex ed program for pre-schoolers.....we've had a good program for years!)

Married couples are like salt & pepper shakers.....a matching set.

(invade Pakistan???? Sex education for pre-schoolers????).

If you're going to mention Obama's political positions it would be nice if kept them in context.

Regarding invading Pakistan, here is the gist of his position: “If we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and President Musharraf won’t act,” Barack Obama said today, “we will.”

So it's not as if Obama's going to rush into a war with Pakistan.

As far as sex education in kindergarten, again, context.

According to Obama campaign spokeswoman Jen Psaki :"Barack Obama supports sensible, community-driven education for children because, among other things, he believes it could help protect them from pedophiles. A child's knowledge of the difference between appropriate and inappropriate touching is crucial to keeping them safe from predators."

This is what Obama had to say:

“We have an existing law that mandates sex education in the schools. We want to make sure that it's medically accurate and age-appropriate.

“Now, I'll give you an example, because I have a six-year-old daughter and a three-year-old daughter, and one of the things my wife and I talked to our daughters about is the possibility of somebody touching them inappropriately, and what that might mean.

“And that was included specifically in the law, so that kindergarteners are able to exercise some possible protection against abuse, because I have family members as well as friends who suffered abuse at that age. So, that's the kind of stuff that I was talking about in that piece of legislation. “

----------------

You make it sound as if Obama is suggesting we pass out birth control to kindergarteners. Nothing could be further from the truth. He just wants to educate them about inappropriate touching, and I support that.

ugh!! No offense pushka. Definitely not my cup of tea.

I agree with that article to a point. Men with more feminine features, or softer looks generally have the personalities to match. My husband has the best of both. He has fair hair, fair skin and blue eyes. He has a really kind looking face, an honest face. He doesnt have a johny bravo jaw line, but yet his face is very masculine. Hes definitely not effeminate, but not arnie swarzeneggar, a perfect in between. Thanks to his job, he has great muscle tone, but not too much which i think looks horrible on men. And while hes a sweet, sensitive person, hes mentally strong and very stubborn when he wants to be. So I do agree that less macho looking (is probably a better way to put it) men are more attractive to women. Well, they are to me anyway!

Yeah . . . well, I'm hosed. I look positively barbaric . . . fat, bearded (red with grey and white streaks) and a stupid hair-cut from the local Wal-Mart (ASDA to the Brits).

Hey, why not invade Pakistan and make their pro-western leader look like a fool? Nothing like a civil war in a nation barely held together through tribal alliances -- oh, and with nukes as well. Good thinking!

And so all the preschoolers will learn about is about touching? Think that's as far as the bureaucrats would take such federal measures? Again, sure thing.

1 Samuel 16:7

"But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart."

Oh that we all could be more Christlike.

Spot on, Ben!!!!

Personally, I couldn't care less what a man looks like, what he drives or what he does for a living!! I am only interested in his heart and his relationship with the Lord...I want someone who will treat me with love and respect, This is someone that I could feel safe being sealed for all time and eternity with...nobody else will be good enough for me!!!

Fiannan, why do you make repeat myself? Would you mind actually reading my post this time?

Hey, why not invade Pakistan and make their pro-western leader look like a fool? Nothing like a civil war in a nation barely held together through tribal alliances -- oh, and with nukes as well. Good thinking!

Now you know, since I've told you numerous times, that this is not what Obama said. So once again:

Regarding invading Pakistan, here is the gist of his position:

Obama:

“If we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and President Musharraf won’t act,” Barack Obama said today, “we will.”

So it's not as if Obama's going to rush into a war with Pakistan. Rather, he's talking about capturing Osama bin Laden. Do you not think it's worth it to capture bin Laden?

I'm not sure I agree with Obama--I need to know more about the situation. But you need to at least quote him in context rather than slewing your reactionary talking points that completely distort his positions.

Fiannan: And so all the preschoolers will learn about is about touching? Think that's as far as the bureaucrats would take such federal measures? Again, sure thing.

Of course I do. What do you think they're going to do? Hand out prophylactics to four year olds?

Once again, here is Obama's position, in context:

Jen Psak, campaign spokeswoman: "Barack Obama supports sensible, community-driven education for children because, among other things, he believes it could help protect them from pedophiles. A child's knowledge of the difference between appropriate and inappropriate touching is crucial to keeping them safe from predators."

This is what Obama had to say:

Obama: “We have an existing law that mandates sex education in the schools. We want to make sure that it's medically accurate and age-appropriate.

“And that was included specifically in the law, so that kindergarteners are able to exercise some possible protection against abuse, because I have family members as well as friends who suffered abuse at that age. So, that's the kind of stuff that I was talking about in that piece of legislation. “

So, tell me Fiannin, what is wrong with teaching little children, who are so vulnerable to pedophiles, how to prevent themselves from being touched inappropriately? I'll tell you what's wrong with it. Nothing. It's a great idea.

Here's hoping you actually read this far. :P

Yet do you believe the average girl raised in "Happy Valley", attending the local young adult singles ward, has the same attitude? Because if they don't, I'll bet the general US population doesn't either.

I would hate to think that the attitude of the general US population is based on one specific group of people and age group. That would be like saying that since the average girl likes pickles and cream then the general population must like it too. Please!!!

I've avoided putting my 2-cents into this conversation, but I KNOW what women want. How? My wife told me. The most romantic thing a man can do for his woman is . . .

THE DISHES! :-)

Thank you, Pam...my point is...Not all of us women are just looking on the outward appearance...to be honest, I am rarely attracted to "pretty boys" I just get such superficial vibes from them....I HATE superficiality!!!!! I'm 43 years old, I'm ready for a SPIRITUAL RELATIONSHIP...if I can have that, then I am content to stay single.....I refuse to settle!!!
