I mean in defense "Jesus the Christ" isn't the easiest read. This companion book seems to explain language, talk about updated archaeology, *and* offer commentary on commentary on scripture.

Some of us need all the help we can get.

I actually could USE more explations and more description about why people feel that certain things are important! As a former atheist, I found myself saying, Why do you feel that this subject is important? Why are you getting so upset about this statement? What’s the big deal?
