Here we are a year and half later, and we have convictions for lying and charges against Russians for interfering (which I understand is being fought since the interference was legally buying ad spots), but no collusion. It's given Trump the opportunity to play victim! That's not a win, though. The Mueller investigation getting started then lasting for 2 years (thank Sessions, @Just_A_Guy) gave the FBI/DOJ/et. al the needed cover to burn Spygate evidence. That's a loss in the same manner that Benghazi was a loss for the Trey Gowdy committee. The way the economy is going, Trump didn't need Mueller to take on 2020. P.S. I'm a fan of Sessions, just to be clear. Edited November 8, 2018 by anatess2 mordorbund

Guest Godless
Speaking of people who are TOTALLY acting like they have nothing to hide, Rick Scott is apparently suing Broward County over a recount, claiming fraud. Isn't the whole point of a recount to identify and correct potential fraud?

Rick Scott is suing because Broward County, once again, broke election rules.

Not when Broward County has already been caught destroying ballots in previous elections and the same county honcho is now basically saying “OK, Florida; first you tell us how much you think he won by; and then we’ll tell you how much actually he lost by; and until then we won’t even tell you how many ballots there are”. That’s shady as heck. Midwest LDS

NeuroTypical
I woke up sad at the new lows of our government. Then I came to work and someone pointed out that this happened in 2002: https://loweringthebar.net/2010/09/elmo-testifies-before-congress.html Not sure if I'm happy that the newest low happened over fifteen years ago or not.
