It's just been revealed that back in 2022, the secret service found marijuana in the White House -- twice.

And we also just found out that the recent cocaine investigation ended abruptly without them ever having asked Hunter a single question about it.

No evidence.  No investigation.  No answers.

But come on...  Does anyone really have any doubt this is from the Bidens?

If it wasn't from the biden family, a cabinet member, etc... then they would simply release the footage of the alleged tourist dropping it. Problem solved...unless the footage leads to a bigger problem. The real reason - they can't release the video without implicating themselves in despicable behavior.

What concerns me is that security at the White House is willing to leek this information along with the understanding that with all the security at the White House – there is complete failure where it came from (who is responsible).  I honestly believe that someone (perhaps the person responsible for security) should be fired for this breach in security.  I am also astonished that so many politicians (mostly Democrats) and media reporters (mostly mainstream) care so little about our president’s safety that they do not demand this be resolved.

Absolutely someone should be fired. If we lived in a perfect world.

But the reality is that the rules don’t apply to everyone. If you have connections then then you can get away with a lot more. This is human nature and it’s true for every organization, including the ones we hold dearest.

I would suggest that this is not the case, depending on how you define "get away with". In the kingdom of God, you may escape overt detection in mortality; many do. But if that is what you embrace, your lot is cast. Even if you "get away with it" for your whole life, when you stand before God, you stand naked. Cold comfort, perhaps, but I firmly believe it to be true.

Sorry @Traveler

I am not just sorry, but I am also concerned with kind of democracy that lies at the very foundation of our nation or that the citizens insist lie at the foundations of our government.  If we, as citizens, allow for our laws to be applied based on a person’s status – this is not justice, and we are participating in that injustice.

I believe that the citizens of this nation ought to ask if the container of the cocaine was at least dusted for fingerprints.  This alone would tell everyone all we need to know about how corrupt our government has become.

It is not that I intend that this reflects upon you personally but sometimes it seems to me that the meaning of sorry gets changed from a regret with intent for meaningful change to an excuse to continue the status quo.

Not only am I losing respect for our government leaders but more for the citizens that have given up and do not or no longer care.  At least (at the very minimum) we ought to message our representatives.

I meant in this world. Not the afterlife. It’s nice and sweet to think that everyone is treated fairly and no one plays favorites. If you believe that, fine. But it’s not reality.

That’s fine, just know that they aren’t worried about if you respect them or not.

They know whose drugs they are, they just are not going to tell us.

It gives us a whole new meaning and purpose for the “Secret Service”.
