So what do u all think of this mess, where in cause of BP Oil
Hemidakota replied to Roseslipper's topic in Current Events
I failed to add, this morning: as I stated before, the president was given the opportunity by specific European company who latest technology could have helped to prevent the further spillage to the coastal regions. He turned it down. Why? As I stated before, this man wants to create disasters in order to be a Savior to stop the disasters. According to the meager news wire, the government wants to step in to be that savior... -

Who was management? Not BP but the owners of the rig. Now, I am very curious, to review documentation, if government inspectors did in fact visited this rig and signed off its inspection. -

Hmm...you failed to account of using same ounces as a comparison model Maureen. Let us look at your reference based on consumption rate of 8-ounces for caffeine content: DARK CHOCOLATE: 162.2mg COFFEE: 60-120mg Now, which one has the highest content based on the same consumption rate? -
Blood in the Water, Sign of the Times Fulfilled?
Hemidakota replied to BATMan_OIF's topic in LDS Gospel Discussion
Back to the original posting, trying to put this into a clearer perspective, returning back to chapter 15, was a precursor for chapter 16. Remember, Apostle John already seen the Saints sing their victorious song of triumph. Apostle John, gives the readers assurance they will eventually be victorious and have nothing to fear from the judgment vials to be poured out against the wicked. The assignment of the Seven Angels are controlled by the Four Angels [see D&C 77:8] who have power over the earth, people, the charged of the Gospel, also have charged over those who are assigned to various elements on the earth. Given the word, they will come forth from the throne of GOD to continue the work of destruction... THE FIRST THREE BOWLS (verse 2-7) 2. And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. 3. And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea. 4. And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. 5. And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. 6. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. 7. And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments. Professor Richard Draper stated; ('Opening the Seven Seals: The Visions of John the Revelator', p.174-) I have spoken about this in a previous post where the devil have no charged over any element upon the earth. The posting topic was the cursing of the waters. Angels or spirits are to enact GOD's will at all time. They are considered the 'watchers' as described by Enoch. They stand, watch, or enact GOD's will over their assignment upon the earth. It is a belief, angels or spirits are given a direct responsibility over parts of the earth seen by both John and Enoch (See 1 Enoch 60:17, 19, 21; 61:10). -

Adding to Pam's posting; Our copy of the KJV went through countless number of changes from mid 1500 until the latter 1700 time frame. Even in 1666 the Apocrypha was omitted, though previously omitted from some editions of other Bibles. The Nonconformists made objections to the Apocrypha. It was omitted from a 1782 edition in America. Note the attitude of the British and Foreign Bible Society. The books of the Apocrypha are named. The declaration of the Council of Trent thereon is given. The Prophet Joseph Smith's revelation and opinion on the Apocrypha are considered.

Can God Speed Up Time? Does He Learn through fast simulation?

What is infinity? Now imagine in looking from the outside of the universe, looking within. Infinity is now meaningless and pales the size of our known universe. It was a predicament statement between Ram and I had earlier this month on another post. Though, Joseph Smith description is accurate from his observational viewpoint [after his vision of D&C 76 – statements made] from where he is standing, I am suspecting our own galaxy was his footstool of viewpoint, looking outwards to the edge of universe may look infinite to him. But seeing the universe on the outside at its boundary, changes the whole perspective regarding to size and what is contained within. Does that make sense? A reasonable education answer for GOD’s time, noting the pattern is already seen with us, time I suspect for GOD will be governed by HIS FATHER. But to discern it and explain it, we simply don’t have the language or the math for it. It maybe a grandeur super galaxy cluster where even our galaxy is part of this overall structure. -

Today, military reservist and National Guard [if you have no overseas orders] can put in for sabbatical leave to go on a mission for two-years. I don’t know how it was back in the 50s. -
"Soul" = spirit and spirit + body = "soul"
Hemidakota replied to Seminarysnoozer's topic in LDS Gospel Discussion
While reading one of Joseph Smith's sermons, 'Temple Stand', 13 August 1843, it states something here about our generation will have the knowledge of spirit ranking. Precusor to this, the writer was Willard Richards, in relation to the death of Judge Higby; In the notes from the book, it states to see D&C 128:18. See Matthew 11:25; 21:16; and, Luke 10:21 as compared with Matthew 13:35. Is it our day, when this knowledge shall come forth to this generation of what was hidden? -
Can God Speed Up Time? Does He Learn through fast simulation?

Getting back to the "non-linear time" issue, here is thought given by Robert Burton [bYU Studies, vol. 20 (1979-1980] talks about the various differences of observation points and scriptures evidence that there are macroscopic physical dimensions outside of the 3D-time continuum in which we appear to reside [stated by the web owner]. Remember, this paper was not scanned at BYU. I am grateful for this website owner scanned the documents. I have it in soft copy but to add it to the site may require some pages. Do a quick review and see what can be a positive or a negative learning from the paper. Curious here, was it presented to the Elders Q. that Joseph Smith used the German version for making corrections to the bible? The reason according Joseph Smith, it was more accurate than the KJV during his time.
