Its been several years since we have lived in Utah............8 to be exact. We left for better wages and a better possibility of getting into a home sooner. Dh's BIL lives in the Ogden area and works in SLC...........thank goodness for TRAX. That might be an option for you. But I would advice to look and research before you take that leap. Good Luck!

First....do I personally agree w/ HBO..........not one bit. However, in part, some of the sacredness comes from the knowledge we obtain................I seriously doubt that those watching and even those who are involved (actors, writers, directors) will gain much. As the spirit wont be there to testify and to edify. Other item to bring up is that when there is huge "anti" push..........it tends to push people to seek the truth. Just my 2 cents. Les

Probiotics...............are basically good bacteria. They are found in yogurt (i.e. live culture) it is what gives yogurt its "tang". They can also be found in other fermented food. Hope that helps! Les

The information that you have shared Robert has been extremely interesting! I am going to a larger city (i live in a very rural community) and plan on purchasing the "New Chapter Candida Take Care" that you mentioned in your previous post. As a side not I have been a huge fan of probiotics for the last few years! They have helped ease some of my other complaints/symptoms. Again, thanks for your input!! Les

I am not a 100% certain that I can answer your question exactly how you want it to be answered. However, I will give it the best that I can. When I was 10 an extremely traumatic event took place in my life. My father was severely burned he had to be life flighted and because of the severity my mother was flown with him. We later found out that it was believed that he would die in flight. First you need to understand that we were not a very active church going family. I remember running into my bedroom and yelling and screaming at God...."You can't have him! You can't take him! I still need him!" After the yelling and crying I cannot deny the peace that embraced me. At the time I had no idea what that was chalk it up to pure emotion and pure exhaustion. But I cannot and will not deny that I was warmly embraced. Fast forward 15 or so years...........I stood alone in a grove outside of Palmyra New York. Yes the same grove as Joseph Smith Jr. went in and rec'd his revelation. No personages appeared, no piller of light. But that very same warm embrace that I felt at age 10 returned...I left that grove knowing that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that he had seen God the Father and His son Jesus Christ. President Gordon B. Hinckley stated something like this.........one of 2 things happened in the grove that day............either it happened or it didn't. He then goes on to testify that it did indeed happen. One of two things did happen that day......................it is between you and God to find out for yourself.

Yes multiples are implanted but 8 is extremely rare. Instead of introducing a bill that would set a max. number it should would be nice to see more insurance companies that would actually cover IVF or even IUI's.

Not only did she make a bad choice but so did her doctor. "Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should."

I'm sorry to hear of your situation. My husband and I recently watched "Fireproof" in a nutshell it is a movie about strengthing your marriage. It is from a non-LDS perspective and it makes a lot of sense. To paraphrase............."never leave a partner behind". Do small acts of service towards your husband and stay away from negative talk and action. If you love him, and it sounds like you do..........then fight for him.................fight to keep him.

In many ways I have to agree with what has been said. However, I have to admit that I have not bore my burden well. In all honesty I detest my burdon and would gladly give it away..............but I would not want to see another have to bare it. With what has been said I think, at least for myself, I'm happy (maybe even content) with being in the corner.............or to be the weakling so to speak. Why should I have to be "strong"? But that isn't what our Heavenly Father had in mind. He doesn't want us to simply get by...............He wants the best when we either can't see it or refuse to see it. We (me) wants simplicity and the gospel isn't simple it is grand, it is marvelous, it is strong and there fore we need to be too.

We have a lrg. plastic bottle that we had put spare change into. A year ago we were going on a trip and asked dh if we should use that to help w/ gas (gas prices where through the roof) he agreed but honestly thought that there might be $50. Needless to say he was amazed when we walked out w/ over $200! Every lit bit helps! Buying an extra can of soup or tuna doesn't seem much, but over the monthes it truly startes to add up.
