  7. Any place has its pro's and con's. You just need to weigh it out, make a decision and pray about it. I lived in Provo many moons ago when I was younger had a great experience, loved it probably should of stayed longer. Would I move back there probably not. It's cold there I've lived in south Florida for many yrs I get cold so easily. Plus I like living in the mission field. Not that ut. isn't a mission field too it is and a lot of opportunity to Learn a lot. I think the snow is a great place for a winter vacation, but to live in it, is not for me . If you move there I'm sure you will love it..
  8. Congratulations on your upcoming baptisms!! This is awesome news.
  9. I say go, he is your friend....Just stick to your standards... Be a friend...
  10. Truth is having the spirit with us is the very best gift. We need to work for the better gifts. I hope I've helped.
  11. I didn't read what the others sAid since I'm at work But for my self, having the gospel in my life is my biggest blessing of all. I know I can not hide from Heavenly Father. And at this time in my life I am grateful that I know that I can't hide anything from him, that he knows the good. bad, and ugly about me. And it's a good thing why, because HE know s the best way to help me, become the best me. Believe me I 've done a lot of things I wish I never did. And still grateful that he know s. It's a blessing to have the gospel..we who do have so Microsoft more advantage s because we have it. Temporal stuff might give us temporary pleasure s that don't last. Having the spirit with us is so much better then any worldly temporary pleasure can give us. We all have struggle s, problems, issues of one kind or another. HF knew this would happen. That's why we have the plan of salvation, the plan of happiness, that's why we have the atonement. Living the way heavenly father want s us to will bring us much more happiness, joy and peace, then being tempted by the worldly stuff and that's what Satan and his followers temp us to choose the wrong they want us to be miserable. So who's side do you want to be on? There's a great article I think it was from last general conference which way are you facing to our God who wants the best for us, or the opposite direction. We all have our free agency, this is a gift from God. He will notforce us He lets us choose For me I testify that I know that Heavenly Father s ways are the best. Continue to Learn, grow.

  14. Hello and welcome. Its a pleasure to be able to get to know you. I have been a member o the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints for 35 yrs now. I want you to know that my membership is the best gift that I have been given!! Sunday is the best day of my week, also anytime Im at the temple is my best days as well. Id suggest you ask your friends if you can attend church with them. Im sure your friends will be very happy that you asked and will be happy to share more of the gospel with you. LIke others have said baby steps are the way to go, don't be so hard on yourself....God is in control...Hence you see you have been blessed to have LDS friends....God has put them in your path.....its a blessing....after 35 yrs I know a lot more then I did when I joined....but still do not know it all.....It takes a life time and more to continue to learn and grow and its all worth it. After sacrament meeting, theres a wonderful sunday school class for investigators and new members a few older members go as well...Its a wonderful class teaches the basic's. When you are ready you can take the missionary lessons....who knows maybe your husband will join you in this...miracles do happen...!!.... It is a good thing that you are opened minded and searching, pray to God(Heavenly Father) pour out your thoughts to him, your concerns, ask Him questions, etc...etc...He is very much aware of you, you are His daughter and I want you to know that He loves you sooo very much.....more then we can even comprehend.....Im here for you as well, Im sure all of us here are....though I want you to know I am not on the site very often...so if you want you can message me....here.....and when I get on here and see it ill reply.... Best wishes on your wonderful journey........ :)
