Speaking as a child of a half LDS parentage:
The above post rather than Maureen's "daddy and daddy" backhanded shot at the LDS church.
The church is concerned with how the child in a part member home is raised without causing distress.  Maureen knows this, but as usual wants to take shots at the church. 
Everyone sees it Maureen, quit pretending otherwise.  If you need lessons in how to interact with a different faith I recommend you use @prisonchaplain as a source for good relations with a religion you do not believe.  I'd think after as long as you have been here that you would have to have read some of his posts.

I hope it is ok for me to make this thread. Ever see those millions of flavors of Oreos or weird flavors of chips and wonder, "who keeps falling for this gimmicky crap?" This gal. Right here. Some are good, others just sort of hit me wrong but despite the myriad failvors I've come across, as soon as they come out with a new one, I bring it home to try it out. How about you? What are some of the best and some of the worst you've tried? Feel free to revisit this thread and tell us about your flaventures!
Something I've tried that I was surprised I liked were these cotton candy puff balls.

They're basically the same size and texture of cheese puff balls but they're sweet and taste like cotton candy instead. It takes getting used to on the first try but once you get used to them, it's basically just crunchy cotton candy.
Candy, sweets, snacks, junk food, etc. What are some odd or interesting things you have tried? What did you like? What did you wish you could erase from memory?

I only wish to point out that the Word of Wisdom prohibition against coffee and tea was not established because of caffeine, so the "decaf" part of this scenario is irrelevant.  Whether you had a cup of caffeinated coffee or decaf, it's the same violation of the Word of Wisdom.  Beyond that, you'll have to figure out how you want to handle this, particularly if you have a worthiness interview wherein keeping the Word of Wisdom is discussed.

For us folks who get that pesky seasonal anxiety, changing the clock takes quite a big physical toll... 

or you could move to Arizona and not have to deal with the time change.

I hear that ....old Trafford.   Would love to see a match there.  Too bad as a missionary in England I wasn't allowed to go.   

I want to take my wife to see Temple Square in Christmas lights and take her to do a live session. 

See a football match at Old Trafford, preferably against a top tier team, but any game would be cool.
Tour London.
Visit Europe (actually doing that later this year).
 
 

Interestingly, I shared this with my wife, who did not find it funny because she is aware of situations where something like this actually happened, and people left the church over arguments about whose pew is whose.

We sat in the same pew for years, probably left side, fourth row.  Then my mom got a calling that kept her from getting to Sacrament meeting until it just began, so we switched to last row of the overflow section.  No one really wanted our new seats.

Because of the areas I was in....I have been to the Lake District.  Stood in front of Wordsworth home.   Been inside the York Minister.  The Queen visited two of the areas that I was in.  

I got off the flight to England, took the train to London, rather dazed I went into a microscopic grocery store and was browsing. I turned around and found that 5 people were lined up behind me in the tiny aisle, waiting for me to move. No one had said a word!

Oh man.  So, daughter had surgery before Obamacare.  World-class physician.  Time for the 18 month followup!  I call to make an appointment, and find out the doctor has followed through on her plan to quit practicing medicine in the US if Obamacare passed.  Her office doesn't know where she is, but figures she's no longer in the US.

I like blueberries with my protein powder after the gym.  I am drinking some right now matter of fact.  As long as we are on the subject, @MormonGator has an obsession with a crappy "metal" band.  Sheeesh...some people.

Walmart ......only store that cost 100 dollars to only get milk.  Lol
