Sounds like you would prefer His mercy over judgement.

I think that the Brother of Jared saw Jehovah clothed in a body of Flesh and Bone. The passage essentially states this. The Brother of Jared mis-assumed that it was a Body of Flesh and Blood which allowed for a wonderful revelation and understanding. The real question is where did this body of flesh and bone come from? I can think of many scenarios that would satisfy.

There are statements in our literature by the early brethren which we have interpreted to mean that the Negroes would not receive the priesthood in mortality. I have said the same things, and people write me letters and say, "You said such and such, and how is it now that we do such and such?" And all I can say to that is that it is time disbelieving people repented and got in line and believed in a living, modern prophet. Forget everything that I have said, or what President Brigham Young or President George Q. Cannon or whomsoever has said in days past that is contrary to the present revelation. We spoke with a limited understanding and without the light and knowledge that now has come into the world.... We get our truth and our light line upon line and precept upon precept. We have now had added a new flood of intelligence and light on this particular subject, and it erases all the darkness and all the views and all the thoughts of the past. They don't matter any more.... It doesn't make a particle of difference what anybody ever said about the Negro matter before the first day of June of this year. - Bruce R McConkie, August 18, 1978. All Are Alike Unto God (Speech). A SYMPOSIUM ON THE BOOK OF MORMON, The Second Annual Church Educational System Religious Educator's Symposium. BYU

Good question.

I don’t see it as so. I’m going to use the following statement to guide my judgements. And I will not continue to enter debate as to why such and such statement made sense back then but not now. I will look to the future and love my neighbor. No good will come from defending past racism. Today, the Church disavows the theories advanced in the past that black skin is a sign of divine disfavor or curse, or that it reflects unrighteous actions in a premortal life; that mixed-race marriages are a sin; or that blacks or people of any other race or ethnicity are inferior in any way to anyone else. Church leaders today unequivocally condemn all racism, past and present, in any form. Since that day in 1978, the Church has looked to the future, as membership among Africans, African Americans and others of African descent has continued to grow rapidly. While Church records for individual members do not indicate an individual’s race or ethnicity, the number of Church members of African descent is now in the hundreds of thousands. The Church proclaims that redemption through Jesus Christ is available to the entire human family on the conditions God has prescribed. It affirms that God is “no respecter of persons” and emphatically declares that anyone who is righteous—regardless of race—is favored of Him. The teachings of the Church in relation to God’s children are epitomized by a verse in the second book of Nephi: “[The Lord] denieth none that cometh unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; … all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile.”

Disavow means that anything that was written or spoken from Church leaders that was racist was not doctrine then and is not doctrine now. Be they Bruce McConkie, Brigham Young, or authors of the Book of Mormon. Mormon 8:17 And if there be faults they be the faults of a man. But behold, we know no fault; nevertheless God knoweth all things; therefore, he that condemneth, let him be aware lest he shall be in danger of hell fire.

Excerpt from Jeffrey R. Holland, “Rending the Veil of Unbelief,” in The Voice of My Servants: Apostolic Messages on Teaching, Learning, and Scripture, ed. Scott C. Esplin and Richard Neitzel Holzapfel (Provo, UT: Religious Studies Center, Brigham Young University; Salt Lake City: Deseret Book, 2010), 143–64. https://rsc.byu.edu/voice-my-servants/rending-veil-unbelief Yet another interpretation of this passage is that the faith of the brother of Jared was so great he saw not only the spirit finger and body of the premortal Jesus (which presumably many other prophets had also seen) but also had some distinctly more revealing aspect of Christ’s body of flesh, blood, and bone. Exactly what insight into the flesh-and-blood nature of Christ’s future body the brother of Jared might have had is not clear, but Jehovah does say to him, “Because of thy faith thou hast seen that I shall take upon me flesh and blood” (Ether 3:9), and Moroni does say that Christ revealed Himself in this instance “in the likeness of the same body even as he showed himself unto the Nephites” (Ether 3:17). Some have taken that to mean literally “the same body” the Nephites would see—a body of flesh and blood. A safer position would be that it was at least the exact spiritual likeness of that future body. Jehovah says, “Behold, this body, which ye now behold, is the body of my spirit . . .and even as I appear unto thee to be in the spirit will I appear unto my people in the flesh” (Ether 3:16), and Moroni says, “Jesus showed himself unto this man in the spirit” (Ether 3:17).

Meridian dosent mean the median mode or mean. Also, are we counting the time in the Garden of Eden and the Millennium? No one knows the hour. Except the Father.

Cleon I (Cleon of the Entun dynasty). From ChatGPT… No, the concept of the three clone emperors—Dawn, Day, and Dusk—representing different life stages of the same genetic ruler—was not part of Isaac Asimov’s original Foundation books. This idea is unique to the Apple TV+ adaptation of Foundation and was introduced to provide a more centralized and dramatic representation of the Galactic Empire’s leadership. In the books, the Galactic Empire’s rulers, such as Cleon I, are depicted as individual monarchs who age and are replaced by successors, without any cloning or shared rule across generations. The show’s innovation adds a layer of political and philosophical intrigue not present in Asimov’s writings, emphasizing themes like continuity, identity, and the challenges of ruling a decaying empire. -

Did you read the Robot & Empire series as well? R Daneel Oilvaw may be my favorite Christ figure in literature. -
Oh, bless your heart for the reminder. I knew a loss was coming but wasn’t thinking it would be Kansas. I hope we get fired up and play well against Arizona State. Unless we lose out, we will probably be in the conference championship against the Buffalos. If so we will need to be at our best and lucky. They are looking sharp.

He will bring some accountability. Right now too many Americans are on too many medications. We should be more focused on healthy living and preventative medicine. The raw milk issue is a good thing to look at. In our country we pasteurize our milk. If any cows are sick and pass bacteria into their milk we just kill the bacteria and serve it to the population. We should try harder to make sure that cows that are sick are taken off the production line.

Y’all might want to stop spending all your hope on polls and demographics and start listing to the concerns of the population. Just sayin.

Pete Buttigieg in my opinion would have been a much better choice. Tim Walz best quality is coming up with the commentary these guys are weird. His political career was irrevocably harmed by that terrible debate.

Wasn’t prohibition wildly successful? We should declare a war on all sin. And let Donald J Trump define sin.
