Candy, it took me a very long time to get used to a message board. I have been here now 5 years and I have learned that there are just some threads I don't care to read and that's ok. If you feel really upset take a break, and read less contensious threads. I personally come here for fun and friendships but that is just me.:)

Try doing a nightly bedtime routine. Write down the things that are on your mind so you can worry about it later. Take a 10+ min candle lite bubble bath Get ready for bed, cozy jammies Wash your face, brush your teeth Read something calming Spray some lavendar on your pillow Use as many pillows as needed for comfort. I hope things get better

Sarcasm can be very hurtful but it is also important to remember that this is just a message board. If you get your feelings hurt think about this. "How important is this to me in my real life". This is a place where we can make friends and have a good time but it is also a place where people can take things out on us that have nothing to do with who we are as individials. If something really bothers you walk away and don't come back for a day or so. We have also been taught about being offended which is something we can control.:)

Starberry I don't doubt about the realness of your dream. I am not so sure I am ready to kill people to protect our food supply. Have we been counseled to buy weapons and kill to protect our food and supplies? I mean do we hold up in our homes ready to shoot? If we are counseled to do this I guess I will have to go against the personal beliefs I have to shoot someone. If the world turns into terror like described I am not sure I want to live through that.

I agree that in person we can watch for clues in the persons face here we can use the "smiles" to the right.:D:D The only thing about those is you are limited to eight per post. I also think it's fair to say that some of us who have been here awhile know how some people are and when things are meant as a joke or meant to offend. I always say that if you are unsure you need to ask and maybe in a PM would be best. Some of the people I thought were so rude have actually become some of my better friends after we had gotten past a misunderstanding. :):):):)

I just saw that we have a new forum without any posts... something about the "never" word. I Believe that for overall wellness we need to do what we can about the things we have the ability to change. We need to know that things which we have no control of and learn to deal with those things. We need to have the wisdom to know the difference. There is a verse about this, can anyone quote it?

I have found that people fear things they don't understand.

I have been a member for much of my life and I have struggled with that label of a cult. I think getting to know fellow members of the church will put those fears to rest.
