  1. How do you know that?
  2. Nice story or I mean quite the story. :) Would this couple, if they desired, been sealed if they had lived and would that sealing been valid had they lived worthy? People grow precept upon precept. Just becuase one might not want to follow a certain commandment now, dosen't mean he will remain that way.
  3. The fact that the ordinance could be done by proxy does make it fact.
  4. However if her husband did join the church, it would be her desire to be sealed to her husband. I think she will be judged for the desire in her heart and not because circumstances prevented her from doing so.
  5. I wouldn't be surprised the same rules that apply for us might not apply for a God. Also if needed could He not have the ordinance done by proxy?
  6. I think much inspiration can be had, thinking about and discussing all things pertaining to God.
  7. He didn't need to be married during His time here to be exalted.
  8. I realise there was a beginning to this world we live on in the sense that it was changed from one state to another (created). I do not go for the idea that there was a beginning to the gospel and all it entails. I do not think there was a beginning to time or an end time time. I think God uses the "one eternal round" phrase partly because, for most, it is the only way we can best understand the eternities.
  9. In our eye's you are just another church, and what do we think of other church's? Do the best you can with what you have.
  10. My first knowledge that God actually exists came while I was living in sin with a woman and a little high on drugs.
  11. People in the celestial kingdom that chose not to be married in this life will remain single.
  12. God uses many different ways and means to inspire people to repent. The natural disasters that happen are one of them. They help many people remember God is supreme, that all should reverence Him.
  13. Traditionaly, sure guys get to ask but woman get to say yes or no. Seems like woman might have the upper hand.
  14. It's all in the blinking eye of the beholder.lol
  15. I'd laugh but....
  16. I'm familiar with this reasoning but I still can't accept it. When I hear someone say they would rather be miserable I think they are fooling themselves.
  17. Not at all and your right it is strange, very strange. I'm not so sure I can accept anyone would truly rather be miserable then happy.
  18. I'm using the word council as advice, and I'm also speaking of any priesthood leader.
  19. There are many scriptures in the BoM that tells me many will not be so happy in their end state. Alma 28:11 for instance is one of them.
  20. I'll take it any which way but loose. :)
  21. I would think so to which is why I never could understand that scripture that explains all of your sins will be of no consequence unless...
  22. Sounded like you had a problem..ok good you didn't.
  23. I would think if you became sinless or very close to it in this life you would be translated of which It's been a looooong time sinse I've heard of that happening.
  24. Just having a hard time seeing where you had a problem with Mellisa's post.
  25. Our you saying we become a sinless person when we apply the atonement? Is it a known fact that a person can become sinless in this life?
