  1. None. Got a little rain, but not enough. It's supposed to be 72 today.
  2. Try Malwarebytes Anti-malware to remove infection from your desktop. Load it onto a usb thumb drive, boot to safe mode then run it. If that doesn't do it, post in the "am I infected" forum on Bleeping Computer. This is where I go for help for almost any computer issue, including BSOD's, malware, or anything else. Be patient, as it is all volunteer people who most have regular jobs. Bleeping Computer - Technical Support and Computer Help
  3. Mine is down $150 counting the insurance increase and the higher withholding.
  4. Not bothered by it at all, Pam. Sour grapes just turn into w(h)ine
  5. Maybe so, now that they fired a few people. Not holding my breath.
  6. sure it is...don't you see it in my post?
  7. Even leaster than Pale? And is it because of your love for cats?
  8. Thank you everyone, it was good, except for the dang flu part. Went to Red Lobster with wife and kids, and wife made yummy brownies.
  9. Pammie you just say that cuz I'm still younger than you!
  10. Use Ccleaner to uninstall then clean. It will also clean up the registry. Also use it to see what's in startup section and eliminate what doesn't have to start. Programs that you do not need on startup like Adobe programs can be turned off so they start when you need them. If you are not sure if you need it on startup google the program name.
  11. If somehow I ended up with a Win8 computer, first thing I would do is partition the drive (or install separate drive) and put Win7 on it. I recently won an Asus Vivo tablet with Win8 RT. Luckily Micro Center let me substitute a Samsung Galaxy with Android. It was $50 less, and I used that and the $100 gift card that came with it to buy a stand alone copy of Win 7 Pro 64bit which I will use next time I upgrade my desktop hardware. My desktop currently is set to dual-boot to XP Pro (32bit) or OSx Lion. I can easily set a tri-boot option at that time.
  12. Should be easy. The USPS delivers your mail...or doesn't. Therefore, if you want them to deliver, use what they say your address is.
  13. Awesome band. Have seen them 2 times. All 3 members are superbly talented. Peart's drumming is awesome, Lee's vocal range is amazing, And Lifeson's string work is incredible.
  14. Hey, I lived in Wyoming when I met my wife on the internet. We just celebrated our 10 year anniversary and today is our son's 7th birthday. We are only 2 years apart in age. We got married when I was 36 and she 34.
  15. I have been paying electronically for about 2 years with bill pay, too. I get direct deposit from work, too and tithing is the first item in my excel spreadsheet. For about 6 years I had a 2nd acct that I had the 10 % go into, but suddenly my bank started charging me a fee so I closed it. It was nice being completely separated, but did not want to pay a fee since the deposit amount wasn't enough to avoid the fee. Still mad they changed.
  16. I have a 32GB card in my phone, too. And in my Transformer.
  17. Angry Birds Star Wars. Bummed the paid version doesn't work on my phone. Mostly I use Facebook, Twitter, Words With Friends, and the email app. Also Out of Milk, Walgreens, Yahoo Messenger, and Tune In Radio. Of course have LDS Tools and Gospel Library.
  18. I would recommend Asus laptops and Amazon or Tiger Direct.
  19. I have had Office 2010 since it was new. I hate that they have added 438 buttons on the menu bars in Word and Excel. Who needs all those tools? I have eliminated most of them, but still more than I want. Blech :rant:
  20. I wouldn't mind trying to set up my Asus Transformer tablet as dual-boot with Android and XP
  21. I will stay with XP Pro til my next hardware update, then will move to 7 Pro 64bit
  22. I have used hotmail without issue since I got my first computer back in the days of Win98 SE (remember that?). I also have Thunderbird with an email connected to our home business, but rarely use it.
  23. Consider yourself blessed that your husband provides without you having to work outside the home too. On the other hand, there are some households where the wife is also a WAHM providing significant income, while hubby works outside the home, and does all the dishes, laundry, and most housecleaning, too on his days off.
