  1. No, you are thinking of Origins, which I liked. This was just recently released to DVD. Mediocre movie. I've heard that same rumor about Boba Fett. I just watched Below. Pretty good. On what was supposed to be a routine rescue mission during World War II, the submarine USS Tiger Shark picks up three survivors of a U-boat attack. But the crew begins to notice—while trapped together in the sub's narrow corridors and constricted spaces—that the visitors seem to spark a series of chilling, otherworldly occurrences.
  2. Wolverine. What a waste of such a great character. 2 Guns. Very entertaining.
  3. If you put LMM next to me it provides overlapping fields of fire.
  4. Nothing wrong with BBC...that let's us add All Creatures Great and Small, Red Dwarf, Dr. Who, Black Adder, Good Neighbors, Monty Python and Mr. Bean. Just to name a few.
  5. Are we including non practicing/inactive?
  6. Wrong. Answer is #1.
  7. Me too. Longtime Manchester United fan. Who do you support?
  8. This is kind of fun. 1. I have visited every state except Alaska and Hawaii. 2. I have been to Pres. Monson's house many times. 3. I played on a soccer team that went 30-1 and scored over 40 goals.
  9. Pepsi over RC, RC over Coke. Actually darn near any soda over Coke. Diet Coke over Diet Pepsi (preferably caffeine free...it has a sweeter taste). Diet Mt. Dew over all of them. That said, Propel Zero (grape) is my preferred drink most of the time. I go in phases of what I like after that. At work I get Diet Mt. Dew most nights. I get a 32 oz cup, half of which is ice and drink about half that before dumping it out and refilling again. So most work nights I figure I drink about 20-30 oz of Dew. During the summer I will use the 32 oz cup and make my own Hawaiian Punch and usually drink two during the night. Caffeine only makes me pee more often. No headaches, no staying awake, no shakes etc. Honestly, the whole caffeine argument is one of those Mormon Pharisee things we do. Some people don't consume it, fine, that is their choice. Those in that group who then try and denigrate/persecute the ones who do consume caffeine really need to take a step back. If consuming caffeine was as horrible a violation of the gospel as they say, we could not attend the temple, make and keep our covenants. If you don't keep the Word of Wisdom, you don't go the temple. Period. It is that simple.
  10. #2 was the lie.
  11. Reading, computer games/apps, shooting, watching soccer, listening to music, watching concerts on youtube.
  12. T-shirts...almost always. That probably comes from having to wear a uniform at work. I used to wear Levi's a lot, then I discovered 5.11 Tactial pants. I love them and they are really comfortable. I still throw on the Levi's occasionally. If it is summer I usually wear shorts.
  13. Slamjet #3 is the lie. 1. I have killed and eaten rattlesnakes. 2. I like to snow ski. 3. I only sleep 4 hours at a time.
  14. Lately I have had the following promptings. First: practice shooting, both dry firing and live firing. Second: work on my physical fitness, through weight lifting and cardio. Three: as relates to my stake calling, teach/push food storage. What, if any, promptings are you receiving?
  15. The Walking Dead = best show currently on tv. I have not seen any of Season 4. I wait for the season to be released on DVD and then watch the previous one followed by the new one at my leisure. That usually means 3-4 episodes a night. The only tv show in the last decade I have liked better was The Unit. Alias and 24 are close runners up to WD.
  16. I have not heard of them, but I will be doing some research now.
  17. No problem...I have a copy of your avatar: And not to leave Eowyn out:
  18. I have 16 years experience as a police officer. That is how I am going to approach this. You already know what he is like. I will be blunt for you: worthless. He is abusive and will continue to be abusive. He is manipulating you to get what HE wants, with no regard for you or the kids. If he chooses to check out of the kids lives...good. Now go find a good man, preferably with your same values, and move on without the loser. NOTHING good will come of you staying with him. There are lots of fish in the ocean. Go catch a good one...the right way (and yes, there are plenty of good fish that will be happy to have you and be a stepdad).
  19. I wear sunglasses and boonie hats.* * I've worked graveyards so many years I wear SPF 50 at night.
  20. I'm not familiar with them. Do you have a link?
  21. I only buy from EE, Shelf Reliance or Augason Farms if there is a sale price. It is all expensive now. I have also noticed the Thrive line seems to be more expensive. Funny thing about EE and SR is they both have their food lines manufactured by MH.
  22. Thrive is the food line from Shelf Reliance. Quality long term food storage. Their food is manufactured by Mountain House.
  23. I started hitting LDS forums a long time ago looking to share preparedness information. I have been semi-active on this site and a couple others (as far as LDS boards go). Sometimes I find interesting topics.
