  3. Truth is Faith in Jesus Christ and exercising his wisdom and living in moral conduct, all religions do possess similar understanding and truth in Jesus Christ principality. Yet, which church exercises building Zion? which religion teaches their flocks to discern the spiritual dangers, corruptions, and confusions that are seeping through society and churches through media, pride, nonbelievers, etc? Which religion teaches fast offerings and 10 percent in tithings? Which church teaches childrens that they are a child of God, and to be spiritually worthy so they may go on a mission or even marry in the temple? Which church teaches the youth Words of Wisdom? Which church teaches men to hearken to the Holy Ghost for guidance in life instead of the influence of the world? As much as one claims to be compassionate, one must understand that Heavenly Father is compassionate to an extent, why should would Heavenly father be compassionate to the wicked who choose to be wicked? When one becomes weak and miserable and want change can one truly seek for compassion, whose the first to offer such? Our Heavenly Father. We must be loyal to the principles and firm in our faith, many religions are changing to conform to the unequality, influencing the abominable ways, we are not to judge but we are to have an eye single to the gospel of Jesus Christ because only through him are we truly glorifying God. Tolerance has been since the old testament taught and practiced upon, it has its pros and cons. Tolerance should not mean we must accept immoral and unrighteous conducts or anything that supports such matters as acceptable, it's contradicting the gospel. Why do people think that they are just and qualified to change a very sacred laws? Inequality is the false pretense of mankinds limited understandings, is it not evident that evil is sufferable? Gradualism exists in the very fabric of our existence and it's a matter of which way we want to gradually go towards, wrong or right? What religion teaches that the coming of Jesus Christ is a blessing if ye choose to live righteously? Which religion teaches that families can be together forever? Which religion teaches the true nature of the Law of Consecration? I've been to many churches seen many different beliefs. I volunteered to help elderly people that need care providing services. I've been privileged to meet veterans whom served in the World Wars, one veteran shared with me a story of how he was disrespected from the ignorance of how poorly schools teaches kids these days of the war and history. He said that some kid said "curse Veterans". Fortunately, I wasn't there I have a temper and am quick to lash out, something that I've been working on. When I studied in history I recall reading about how not many of these soldiers had a choice on whether they wanted to serve in the war or even military. Everything that is happening is repetitious in various corrupted revolutionalising ways. In my opinion, evolution is Zion and will consist of people who desire to live in unity pure in heart, faith, love and charity. I would like to share a summary of Roman Chapter 3: Man is not justified by the law of Moses----He is justified through righteousness which is by faith in Christ, made possible through his atoning sacrifice. When reading these verses, I am reminded of Jesus Christ, he is the just and righteous one that was sent to save us not condemn us, he was persecuted, he was teaching all that we are the spiritual childrens of a Eternal Father whom loves us and that in order to live with him we must live in righteous conduct. I watched the New Testament and The Book Of Mormon, my daughter saw all the things which Jesus was doing and she saw that it was good, but when he was being crucified she was scared, sad, and crying. My daughter said "Mom, why is the people hurting Jesus, why are they killing Jesus Christ? Why are the people so mean?" Honestly, I almost was about to say I don't know teary eyed,but, something in my soul told me to tell her because these people did not understand him and want to live like him by choosing the right. It's so hard to look at my kids and not fear the worst of things in life and struggles. With the strength of Jesus Christ's gospel I'm hopeful and able to be inspired to help lead my kids to live in Christ light. I'm very fearful of my Heavenly Father for he so freely had compassion for me that he sent his beloved son Jesus Christ to die for the remissions of my sins, every pores were bleeding as he prayed. I can only imagine Jesus Christ praying in Gethsemane asking for strength to carry our burdens, our sins and to do thy will of Heavenly Father. Ths is a symbolic meaning, that when I pray I feel so much compassion, even when I'm distraught or in pain, angry. I'm able to feel a sense of peace overcome me after. I believe that Joseph Smith is and was a true prophet whom didn't add to the Bible but translated ancient documents that attested to the plan of salvation of Jesus Christ and his gospels. Just like Jesus Christ, Paul, Mathew, Mark, Luke, John, Nephi, Alma, Mosiah, they all were attesting that there is a Eternal Father, Heavenly Father, God. I believe that the Bible and the Book Of Mormon are words of God (as long as translated correctly), and that we are literally gathering faithfully for when he comes, again. I believe that Thomas S. Monson is a true Prophet of these Latter-days, I feel through the speech given in General Conference that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ Loves each and everyone of us. I would like to conclude that The Church Of Jesus Christ Of These Latter-day Saints is the true church, there is more to Jesus Christ than his Atonement it's the promise (covenant) of everlasting life. All these questions I ask in the beginning of this post is the branches and leaves of the olive tree that will blossom for the time is nigh, these knowledge and teachings are the leaves that will in time and seasons show the true fruits and faith of our labors. I dare not boast about this church but I do bear my testimony that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ lives, and this church has helped that knowledge grow. Hosanna to God and the Lamb and bless everyones heart.
  4. Thanks Convert55, your gifted in testifying simple beauties within the scriptures that many leave unnotice, I find the scriptures entirely to be spiritually poetic. Joseph Smith was incapable of having that much of a knowledge I'm sure without the help of the Holy Ghost and Faith. Thanks again for sharing.

  6. Yes, there is a difference between truth and information just like there is a difference between science and religion or even bioethics and spiritual healing. Question, is there a difference between Wisdom and Knowledge? Indeed there is for wisdom has superiority over knowledge, wisdom includes understanding and moral conduct. An excerpt from J.D. Douglas : If one knows truth than they know Jesus Christ and know that he is the way, the truth, and the life. Now, from my understanding when reading the verse in regards to Mary and Martha Jesus told Martha one thing is NEEDFUL and it shouldn't be taught differently nor perversed or even misconstrued in any way. In my opinion, when ones concept of understanding "ALL" as knowledge or even truth that one is diluted to the understanding of our Savior and his ordinances. Subsets is science, philosophy of socrates, U.S. History, global warming, politics, the monetary system. Which of all these subsets are focused solely on the line upon line precepts upon precepts formula of our Savior Jesus Christ. It's necessary to discern oneself to understand that Heavenly Fathers law is that we shadow the examples of our Savior Jesus Christ not just have knowledge of it, we must convey it through our good works and good deeds. When I read D&C 93:26, "The spirit of truth is of God" truth is "Wisdom" of God. So then the spirit of Wisdom is of God, which testifieths of all things. If one truly understands Jesus Christ then they know that his ways is a process that requires faith,discipline, dedication, labor and compassion. I find it that some are so caught up in the carnal mentality of things that they lack faith in the spiritual need for Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. One may pity others in the lack of physical health and lack of knowledge in things when one should pity themselves in the lack of faith and spiritual understanding of the Savior Jesus Christ.
  7. Regardless, if one is being offensive, we mustn't feed the fuel of selfishness, thoughtlessness nor deviousness through reacting defensively. When I read the title of this it reminds me how much all of us are equally humiliated in the presence of heavenly father and that when we seek for him will we truly understand his mercy.   8. To think of duties in a carnal understanding is to be reminded that I am a single mother, the monetary system, the injustice, and the chaos of my environment. To think of duties in a spiritual understanding of Jesus Christ is hope, inspiration, and the constant yearning to do more good for others.

I find this type of statement amongst members whom find themselves obliged by the actions of other members not realizing that their own actions is the same examples of the exact behaviors they are condemning. Of course, nobody is perfect in any religion yet it is our individual duties to seek perfection in Heavenly Father and live accordingly. When in concern about a matter such as this I think it's necessary to focus on one spiritually. Obviously, if one cannot support the doctrines and ordinances of their faith what makes them capable of teaching others? It's very important to realize when in doubt search, ponder, and pray even ask counsels in the church for more understanding. I don't think it's appropriate to speak in behalf of anyone or to refer to others in the church but oneself if in questions regarding the sanctity of exaltation. I myself do not fully understand the requirements of entering into the CK, but I am hopeful and faithful that I will be able to acquire through the teachings and fellowship of other members of the LDS church. Latter-day saints are members whom understand the spiritual worthiness that's needed through Jesus Christ to hold any sacred callings and duties. Every member is to spiritually build upon and feast upon the teachings in the scriptures of Jesus Christ and when they do will they truly know this church. It's beyond our own mental capacity thus I believe why the scriptures were written, it needed to be written so that we can be reminded through all the questions, doubts, and misinterpretations we may encounter. I'm hopeful that you will be able to understand that your worth of your soul is greatly desired by heavenly father and it's manifested that we must become holy through Jesus Christ only, in order to enter his Kingdom. Exaltation is real the sacrifice of our Savior Jesus Christ is to exemplify that not only will we be resurrected but if we can live like his begotten son may we inherit our mansions accordingly or even become one as Heavenly Father. I truly believe that this church has perfected the understanding of our Savior through his teachings. Here is something that I've learned in church through searching: The Life and Teachings of Jesus and His Apostles - 34 - "That Your Faith Should Not Stand in the Wisdom of Men""That Your Faith Should Not Stand I the Wisdom of Men" This is why I believe there had to be a new and sacred everlasting covenant. Thus new wine in old bottles. The Life and Teachings of Jesus and His Apostles - 6 - "This is He of Whom It is Written""This is He of Whom It is Written" This church faces many ridicules and questions from racial discrimination to bias ideas. I wonder why one would question racism in a church that existed during times its country believed in slavery and any people caught associating with the African Americans were to be executed the same. And to think that this church favors males is inconsistent with the many single mothers and female teachers that help inform each other how to strengthen spiritually in our Savior Jesus Christ and become better daughters of Heavenly Father. Snap out the old ways and click in with the new era, people who fall for these type of rationalizing or discrimination of this church have yet to understand the true meaning of forgiving and change. Instead of adding to the fuel of criticism be the remedy and correct it through Jesus Christ teachings.

I apologize Dogemily, Well still you are a son of Heavenly Fathers and are sooner or later going to have to be accountable for your behaviors and actions. :) And your going to inherit a very spiritual holy calling as a priesthood holder in the future so reconsider the way you act for the better.   11. Dogemily, for what it's worth you are a daughter of Heavenly Father and should consider all the things that you are taught in church. It's hard going through growing up yet still feeling like that little girl, it's coming to a point in your life where you will need to start taking accountability. A little something that girls your age should be building spiritually : So it's up to you to strengthen yourself spiritually through your trials and testify of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ compassion, you must be able to accept and act upon the young women values, and learn about love, faith and purity. These are essential virtues that can only instill our heavenly fathers love to help you become confident in all that you do and say. You have every right to feel hurt to feel bad to feel sorrow, these are all characteristics of humility. As long as you are able to change these feelings into a positive outlook by changing for the better will you be able to understand accountability. The incident in Mcdonalds shouldn't bring you down but teach you that things could have been conducted differently. I know you are more than able to do the right thing and hope that you will consider all these counsel as a positive reconstructive way of helping you feel motivated to do good. In regards to this question it’s to my understanding that we are offered more than just salvation as individuals we are rewarded in exaltation by our good works and deeds during this temporal sphere. May I quote Elder Russell M. Nelson of the Quorums of the Twelve Apostles stated that “In God’s eternal plan, salvation is an individual matter; exaltation is a family matter.” In the scriptures we as individuals are given a symbolic message that Heavenly Father is an all-knowing compassionate father and that he is of order and natural laws. Heavenly Father is whom Jesus Christ came down to this earth to proclaim, our savior was willing to serve Heavenly Father and to express symbolic truth of Heavenly Fathers compassion for us. Through our beloved Savior Jesus Christ can we only be able to dwell in Heavenly Fathers Kingdom. Only Jesus Christ’s divine perfect examples and teachings show us the intricate straight and narrow path to eternal salvation and eternal exaltation. It’s apparent that many come to a point in their life to question who they are, what their purpose in life is. Some are introduced to this gospel but are very unspiritual and some are very spiritual yet puffed in pride. Some don’t come upon this church through seeking but through the examples that a member has bestowed upon them through good works and/or deeds, or family events such as family home evenings, family reunions, and genealogy. It’s very hard to teach and preach the word of Heavenly Father, when people are not in the state of inheriting such spiritual matters, even when people are in the trance of iniquity and accustomed to evil things for its sufferable. I myself was very resistant to this gospel in my youth because I was going through trials and tribulations, I was angry with Heavenly Father in regards to things bad or wrong that happened to me as a child. I learned through this church that parents are to be held accountable for the things that happen to their children when young. It makes perfect sense, we are to protect our children and teach them to protect themselves if someone tries to do something inappropriate to them. Shield them with the armors of the Holy Ghost so that they can prevent being in a situation that can harm them. The temple work is relevant to this teachings and gospel of Christ: That’s for you to discern, not for others to tell you what is right or wrong and what is true and not true. I think when we truly seek Heavenly Father he enlightens us with wisdom beyond our own mental capacity even astronomy testifies to his powers man neither is capable of implementing such thoughts nor are we able to wrought such deeds. We are in the process of learning and cannot fully understand until we’ve accomplished his master plan of living in the light Jesus Christ. I would recommend though that as a member of this church, we are to be faithful and true to the faith. I understand that many will think that we are a self-righteous religion, but we are just like anyone else capable of trials and struggles yet we use the parables and sound doctrines that keep us upright with our eyes single to the glory of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Enlighten those who question this church through good works and good deeds, many will speak of the good things they do but lack to do it consistently. Many will do it consistently but lack to understand the purpose of such labor, it’s to help lift another’s burden so that it may be light not just to collect achievements in service and display it like a trophy. Understanding our Savior Jesus Christ he walked with concerns of helping all spiritually and physically, all he ask of us is to live like him. He is laid the foundation and we must build upon it line upon line. I’m so grateful for his love and atonement that I do stand so amazed and rejoice for this is a man “Pure in heart”. Understand that this is not about converting but informing and engaging in teaching your friends about Jesus Christ gospel. Our savior was perfect in all that he did and taught; the fact that you informed them leaves it in their mind, body, and soul to choose whether they want to acquire more of it. I’m sure that your actions will determine whether they will seek, and that’s why it’s very important to be good examples of this faith. Even some members needs ordained members to replenish, chasten, and encourage exalting spiritually in the church. I think it’s very wonderful that there are other religions that are helping others to develop Christ-like qualities. Yes many are able to develop Christ-like qualities; however, many are not able to understand the exaltation from our individual covenant made with heavenly father. I read about the law of Sariah because I was confused about the polygamy issue. I read D&C 132:28-39, and it enlightened me about the Priesthood power. I believe that the priesthood power is a key essential for all of the worthy men’s to inherit. I don’t think it’s bias at all at the fact that these men are willing to be spiritually worthily prepared to take upon a very spiritual demanding duty. This church has taught in a very meek way that we each are to administer Heavenly Fathers works it’s not just pertaining to one gender. What I love about this church is it's working from the inside spiritually on out, we are to discern once we have that spiritual knowledge. I truly believe there is more to just being resurrected we have eternal exaltation and that's through the deeds, works, and all pertaining to the light of Christ. That's why, We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.
  13. Welcome Mel, It's always a privilege to learn of new investigators that are seeking to know what the LDS faith is really about. I hope that you will feel the love and compassion of Heavenly Father and our beloved brethren Jesus Christ when you speak with the missionaries. It's very important to ask questions especially pertaining to what you're seeking in your religious endeavors. This church has so much spiritual counsel and guidance that can help lift anothers burdens and strengthen one to become an instrument of helping others. Almost as if to "Pay it forward" for we all seek to move forward in life and sometimes face stumbling blocks but will have others to help us on our way to Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ.

  15. First and foremost I am so eternally beyond expression grateful to our Heavenly Father and the compassion he freely gives me and all of us. I am also grateful eternally beyond expression for our Savior Jesus Christ whom provided a straight and narrow path for us to be able to inherit Holiness so that we may be able to be cleansed (baptized) and worthy to stand in holy places and in the presence of the Lord thy God. I'm very grateful for the knowledge of Jesus Christ teachings which allows me to reprove myself in his ways, and live in peace and humility. To my understanding as a member of "The Church Of Jesus Christ Of These Latter-day Saints" we are his people. For only through Jesus Christ can we enter into our Heavenly Fathers kingdom. I have never been in a church that has focused so much love and devotion to our savior Jesus Christ than this church. I admit that I was unequal in understanding even after the fact I was baptized into this church its true divine purpose, I was like a lost sheep withering away with the wind neither knowing where I'm going to go or where I want to be. I came to a point in my life that I have only Heavenly Fathers grace and mercy to lead me back to his fold. I believe that the prophets from the old testament to this modern day are true prophets who only teach and seek to share teachings that is of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I am desirous to learn of Heavenly Father and able to discern whether the gospel is being taught with the spirit or without. For there are many who will claim to be teaching his gospels and yet may I quote "the words of the wise and their riddles. ... Dark sayings" proverb 1:6 is what becomes of it. I was given this Holy Spirit it's my inheritence to nurture and strengthen so that it may be of light for others to desire and acquire. We are as to serve our Heavenly Father through charity, to help bear one anothers burdens so that they may be light, willing to mourn with those that mourn, and even comfort those that stand in need of comfort. And we must stand as "Witnesses of God at all times and in all things, and in all places that ye may be in, even until death, that ye may be redeemed of God, and be numbered with those of the first resurrection, that ye may have eternal life—" I would like to share a song that my brother-in-law with his brothers and sisters made. It's called "Anothers Burden" by the Moleni Brothers. I love all my brothers and sisters near and far, and only desire that we all may live in true happiness. That we may inherit the light of Christ and dwell in holy places with thee. I'm thankful for this forum and for the many who are seeking the light of Christ and are among these chat threads. I hope that we all may be able to help another in some way when we are seeking to teach others in Jesus Christs let us also teach in meekness exemplifying his ways. Thanks for this post I just felt the spirit to know that you are not alone in wanting to submit to the will of Heavenly Fathers, and am so grateful to know that your willing to help bear each others burdens. May you always have his spirit with you to strengthen your ability to share his love and compassion with others.

This is so true, I love it I love all this information that the church teaches because during my high school years I was on the verge of dropping out, I was irate of the history of America with its slavery, colonizing, womans suffrage, but the gospel instilled understanding that I will come to learn of mankinds natures and deeds and not agree. Although I didn't agree with what was being taught because I was bothered, I was able to be tolerant to learn of this nature. I realized that it wasn't just America that undergoes this type of nature but this is exactly taught since the days of the Old Testament. As much as secular knowledge is being taught without the foundation of the gospel I don't think I would be as tolerant or understanding as I am today. Tolerance isn't to grasp an agreement with those who oppose the principles of the LDS faith, but to endure their differences in a manner that will not influence ones knowledge of what's spiritually and purely right, I want to proclaim this church to be a true church. It enlightened me spiritually and whenever I am amongst a secular understanding I'm able to learn yet knowing what I've learned from the gospel of Jesus Christ to be priority.
  20. Is science knowledge or experimental solutions that have been tested until accordingly to scientist methods proven evident or true from their hypothesis. Hypothesis is a logical guess or from dictionary.com Hypothesis and faith are very similar yet very different, they are similar in the terms of no evidence in what's being asked or questioned yet very different because one has no foundation in Heavenly Fathers knowledge and the other is seeking in mens own understanding and solutions from a experiment and analytical result conclusion. One will be spiritual while the other is carnal, so it narrows down to which one is in the light of heavenly fathers glory and one in the light of mankinds own capacity which is limiting.

And you wonder why people dislike America because of this indignation, Zion and the U.S. government is not one in the same. To think that Zion depends on the constitution is like saying that everything that was created and funded by the governing of the LDS church is indebted to the United States government. Yes, it is the roles of American citizens to fully participate in political, governmental, and community affairs. It's not American citizens rights to put their own political understanding into the churches gospel, that's misleading those who need to strengthen their understanding and testimony in the LDS church so that they can be worthy of Zion. That's why people who go to church to gain spiritual nourishment shouldn't be stigmatized by individuals who think it's so politically correct to teach liberal or conservative principles in the church. The LDS church clearly states: Now, this is why I ask if Zion is going to consist of a political government, we must understand that their is a difference between politics and governments. Excerpt from the above: "If houses were built with the same degree of understanding what the resulting house should be, as politicians have of the result and purpose of their activities, no house would ever be finished, and whatever parts of houses happened to be built would be either collapsing or dismantled and rebuilt, as the understanding of the builders what they are doing would be constantly changing (with the changes in the 'political' climate)." Why does LDS church teach us to build our house upon the rock (Jesus Christ), inevitably it will come to this very purpose. We cannot wait for changes in the political governemt, however, we can in gratitude to the U.S. constitution build our homes within the gospel. To think that the constitution will cause Zion to fall or weaken is the pure doubt that exist amongst the unfaithful. Just like the same who walk away from this gospel due to the difference of their own personal political understandings and lack of faith. When it comes to things pertaining to consecration it becomes above mens law, including politics, it becomes solely based on the Holy Spirit within each and everyone of us who seeks Heavenly Father. Ex. 34:15 Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice; I'm not saying to rebel against the U.S. constitution, but do not make covenants with the constition because you will indebt yourselves to the political bands. I think the Declaration Of Independence supports the very excerpt Isaiah 9:6 of the government being on the shoulder of the Counsellor Almighty God King of Peace. Zion is a place and people who've separated from the politcal bands.   23. Regardless who we vote for and if a LDS member is in congress or the house of representatives, Zion is and always will be built upon the rock (Jesus Christ). Basically this government is going to be on the shoulder of Zion "Kingdom of God" Prince of peace you can't tell me that the government is Zion because it is not, so everything is going to be alright if we continue living the gospel and focus on Zion. The government will need to ultimately declare who it seeks? I have studied the Declaration of independence and understand that it is and was inspired by a spiritual supreme, Zion is and will always be inspired by Heavenly Father (God). There is a difference, so you speak of repairing the government when we should prepare ourselves for Zion. There is going to be holy nations aside from Zion, it is our duty to prepare and work in peace, the government is about power and arbitrating policies and rules. Zion already has unity in understanding principalities and ordinances thereof and that's Heavenly Father's.

I ask this only because I want to understand and if someone can reference in the scripture anything pertaining to Zion being governed. I am enlightened by all this political explanations, however, I'm concerned more as to where I stand with Heavenly Father and not with the government.
