BMI = ( Weight in Pounds / ( Height in inches ) x ( Height in inches ) ) x 703 gives you a number, normal weight is considered around 19-26 Its an old system though and very flawed, it doesn't take muscle mass vs fat weight into consideration or anything else besides weight and height alone. It also doesn't give any consideration to if your male of female. I'm a little toothpick...mine is 19.5

I wonder if anyone has studied the long term health effects of people eating like this on a regular basis. Also of note. Average hotdog is about 75 calories, a bun is about 125....so 200 calories per dog... 63*200 = 12,600 calories...in 12 minutes.. That cannot be healthy..

Congrats!! I was baptized on a Sunday, and in my ward they usually do it after services on Sunday. Distance and getting to the ward seems to be the factor here too. Our ward covers most of our county, for me its a nearly 30mi drive there, one way.

nah.. I don't automatically consider someone as a nut just because I don't agree with their politics. Its how extreme they are, and both the right and left is guilty of this. Using this definition of nuttiness, though I would have to conclude that Rosie is a nut, based on things I've seen of hers. Though she is no more nuttier (is that even a word?) then Rush Limbaugh, just different extremes of the ideological spectrum..

Outshined... Your unit isn't doing an NTC rotation before you roll out?? Thats odd.. Most of the guard / reserve units here do NTC as an extended AT before they go. And our job as NCO's is to help train the younger soldiers, and prepare them for what its really going to be like overthere.

Did you even read the story you posted... I'm pretty sure these kids knew they were not supposed to be skateboarding in this area, it is kinda telling that they ran as soon as they saw the police...don't ya think? I have to agree totally with what ben said, these people are out there everyday trying to keep us safe, and for them to be berated for having to arrest a bunch of little punk kids, who where resisting arrest and interferering with him doing his job, good for them. I saw nothing wrong at all in this video.

Media Hype...I don't know... This is the same media after all that referred to him as a "gun fanatic" and "weapons expert". Considering he used a .22 Walther P22 and 9mm glock 19, he doesn't qualify as knowing much about weapons. If his intent was to kill as many people as possible, these where two poor choices of handgun calibers. Luckily though, because of this choice of weapons a lot of his victims where only wounded and not killed.

Not referring to this particular case, but in general I feel no sympathy for the skateboarders. They bring this on themselves. Bunch of ignorant teen and grown teen wannabes running around being ignorant on crowed city streets. If you wanna skate goto a skate park, but please stay off the crowded sidewalks, running into people, destroying pubic property, and just being a general nuisance. Not saying all the skaters are like this, but far too many are. These towns and cites would not be passing ordnances against skaters if they weren't being so annoying to people.
