I’m really not sure. Definitions and labels get lost on me. I believe that God is the father. I believe that Jesus Christ is his son. They are not the same person. How could they be? Christ refers to His Father often. I’m not sure about the Holy Spirit.

My advice may differ a little from others, so take it with a grain of salt. First, what you feel is normal. We are attracted to people by looks and for qualities we perceive they have. Acting on those impulses, however, would be unfair to you and him. I believe God knows what we need. For now, you MUST put those thoughts out of your mind. You MUST give God, and life, a chance to work. To do this you must open yourself to opportunities. Meet other men. Date. This is how you learn what qualities you REALLY want. This is where you learn what works with your personality and values, AND what you may need to work on in your own life. This is where you may find the man that is right for you. OR, God may put this missionary back in your life after his mission. I'm willing to bet, however, that you'll be my age someday and married with a family. You'll look back on that missionary fondly and think about how that infatuation helped you grow to be ready for the man who married and made your life complete.

Now I'm REALLY confused. I accept that the Godhead is three distinct beings, but I have difficulty (and have never heard) anything about all three being God. There is one God. His Son, Jesus Christ, is just that: His Son. I don't particularly have a "puzzle fit" for the Holy Spirit piece, but I don't understand how the Holy Spirit is God as well.

It's not a court case. It's a senate race. My standards are different for each.

I’m in agreement with your notion that some speculation is damaging. As an investigator, I’m often confused by things that are put forth as fact when they are really beliefs or suppositions. Without revelation, how would we know some of these things and do they really matter with regard to our worship and pursuits?

I'll resurrect this thread. I tried Yerba Mate and Teecino this morning. Yerba Mate is most like raw green tea. The Hazelnut Teecino is not coffee, but similar. I think both may be suitable substitutes.

This is absolutely true. However, I said "it's not unusual for people of similar social statuses to marry". I never intended to imply that higher social statuses never met lower, or vice versa.
-
I suppose that depends on where you draw the line. It also works different down here at the lower end of the spectrum. I don't put much difference on incomes under a few hundred thousand.

The Missionaries gave me this. I hung it on the fridge as a reminder.

I did quote you in detail. Unfortunately, you didn't quote me in detail. I never claimed you said all women are liars. I said your entire rebuttal focused on how women lie. You disagree, then you say exactly what I said?

Typically by other men. I believe the number of men raped by women is infinitesimal by comparison. Statutory rape probably raises the count, by not by much. The relevance is you just typed a paragraph in support of not believing assault claims because of how many women are liars. My experience causes me to believe that while some women may, in fact, be liars, far more women are victims of sexual assault than report it. That depends. Would Melania and Donald be married if she was an Outback Steakhouse dishwasher? It's not unusual for people of similar social statuses to marry. Look at the world.

And some men are rapists.

Odd. The closest English speaking one says "Meetings are for Marine Recruits only". I won't be there on Sunday, anyway.

Do wards post schedules online? I'm traveling next week and thought it would be nice to visit another church. I'll be home for the Sabbath, so I'd like to see if anything is going on during the week.

Everyone has different levels of immorality they are willing to tolerate. When it comes to public officials, I have pretty high expectations.

I don't know if you just called me a fool or agreed with me.

Whether it is legal or not is irrelevant to me, personally. Many things that are legal I find immoral.
