  1. Easy now. Can't you be baptized without being endowed?
  2. I can pre-study. The way people talk, someone may want to meet me there sooner rather than later.
  3. Temple preparation classes? What are those?
  4. Well, looks like we're going JW!
  5. Women working? I couldn't imagine my spouse without her career.
  6. One of our Priesthood Quorum Counselors has head tattoos. He's a great guy. I've just never seen an earring.
  7. Can you wear an earring as LDS?
  8. My wife and I communicate constantly. We share everything, which makes us a team and her my best friend. I can't think of any other way to have a long-term successful relationship.
  9. Elder Ballard's comments on pornography last night were very insightful.
  10. I heard a great talk today about how the way people act around you is representative of what you accept or condone.
  11. Are LDS packs different? Would he be accepted at an LDS pack? Personally, I won't send my children to scouts.

  18. Now you folks are just arguing to argue. Unless something new arises, I'm out.
  19. We must have different Scriptures, or you know them better than I.
  20. That's why I said earlier that the only way to make this happen less is to make false accusations expensive financially and socially.
  21. Godless could have found a better phrase to get his point across, in my opinion, but you also responded in kind. Perhaps we all could stand to step back, take a deep breath, and look at how we are approaching this discussion.
  22. Then we'll have to agree to disagree, I suppose. I think we've covered the basics of the discussion and it boils down to the fact that I believe much of what he was accused of is accurate, that it falls outside my tolerance for acceptable behavior, and that based on the previous two statements I would not be able to reconcile supporting him with my own conscience or the example I wish to set for my children.
  23. What do we need to get straight? I never claimed he broke the law. I stated he acted outside what is acceptable for me, personally, morally. Ok?
  24. But I'm a heathen! Won't they give me a pass?
