  1. Droughts seem to be hitting many areas in the world. Sadly I just got rid of almost all my water storage as we moved to an apartment recently. And in about five months we are going to move again. We sold our home while the real estate market was still decent in Utah.
  2. They disabled a normal user's access to view dislikes on YouTube. I think it is because certain people were trying to push a narrative on YouTube and a large part of the common population was rejecting it.
  3. This movie looks so awful. No interest at all from me. I saw out of 576,000 people that viewed it on YouTube only about 7,300 people gave it a thumbs up. Hopefully the film bombs.
  4. This is another follow up on this subject. A 1952 Mickey Mantle baseball card sold recently for $12,600,000. Take a look at the below website. 1952 Mickey Mantle Card Sells For Record $12.6 Million At Auction (forbes.com)
  5. The other day I opened some Deseret canned chili. 7 years six months past the expiration date. I smelled it and it smelled okay. I then ate the whole can without cooking it. No food poisoning. The can was stored in a cool and dry location in my cellar. I would not recommend eating food that is this long past expiration date. Probably would limit canned chili or tuna in water to less than six years if it was stored in a cool and dry place.
  6. From what I have heard, if the Chinese were to invade Taiwan they would lose many, numerous troops. It would make their military look weak with the terrible losses. If China were to invade Taiwan they would first need to bomb and shell it for a long period of time. It would take a very long time I believe before Taiwan defenses would be weakened enough for China to attempt a land invasion of troops. It would be a very long campaign that would require many Chinese resources.
  7. I have been getting bad feelings about China. It has a very large military, the largest in the world. The leadership seem obsessed with calling Taiwan part of China. In the last days before the LORD comes it would not surprise me if China was one of the main invading forces into Israel. Will they attack Taiwan soon? I hope not.
  8. A lot of good points made in that podcast Folk Prophet. Thanks for posting it.
  9. In my observation it seems Trump angered many people in the District of Columbia and they want to get him at any cost to prevent him from running again for President. It appears federal law enforcement is being used as a weapon to selectively target those who will not bow to the wishes of people running the District of Columbia. The corruption is exposed more and more as time continues. It is sad to me that those with the majority in Congress and the current executive branch do not care about the common good of American citizens. They want to raid the public treasury and get what they can while they have their time in office.
  10. If she was in a well stocked latter-day saint household her Mom would have sent the child to the cellar downstairs, got some frozen butter out, grabbed some powdered milk and some wheat from the dried food storage so she could grind it into flour. After grinding the wheat she would have made some home made bread.
  11. I heard the deficit spending amendment they want to add would require over 50% of the State legislatures to approve the deficit spending unless we had a declaration of war in effect. The more and more I look at the District of Columbia the more I see it resembles a corrupt banana republic. We have many robbers and thieves sitting in some of the highest seats of authority in this land.
  12. I love the opening line of this comedy: "For thousands of years humanity lived in peace without any murders or violence at all, and then, firearms were invented."
  13. Are the lockdowns still going on in Australia? I do know that the general population has severe restrictions on firearms use for self defense in Australia. In my opinion I would not want to live in any land that bans the common population from decent quality semi auto or pump action firearms for self defense. We live in an evil telestial world and I want weapons for protection until all the wicked are destroyed from off the Earth.
  14. I thought law enforcement officers were not allowed to serve on juries. Is that different in Utah?
  15. Women can be very emotional creatures. 😁
  16. To me the rot and stench of the federal government is on full display now and the wickedness of many in the common population. I would be surprised if we are still the United States in eight more years because there may be States that break away. (But this country went through far worse during the War of 1812 and the Civil War.) Already diesel fuel shortages are now being reported in the eastern United States. The one good thing about the hardships coming on us soon is it will force many to return to reality and hopefully turn to the LORD.
  17. Ouch. A car with only about 25,000 miles on it and the engine is broken down. I am so sorry. What type of car was it? In my opinion a good car lasts for over 170,000 miles without major transmission or engine problems. A really great car lasts for over 225,000 miles without needed any major repairs. I know someone driving a Toyota (I believe it is a RAV4 model) that has over 300,000 miles on it. Highest mileage car I ever owned was a Nissan Sentra with over 239,000 miles on the car. We bought it at high mileage and dumped it in a junkyard after about a year. We only paid about $1,000 for the vehicle.
  18. Ben Shapiro interviews a twenty-three year old woman named Helen who began to transition to another gender and then decided to stop. Listen to her interview here:
  19. I believe the answer was given in the 2022 General Conference by Elder Dallin Oaks on woke doctrine. ---------------------------------------------------------- Fundamental to us is God’s revelation that exaltation can be attained only through faithfulness to the covenants of an eternal marriage between a man and a woman. That divine doctrine is why we teach that “gender is an essential characteristic of individual premortal, mortal, and eternal identity and purpose.” That is also why the Lord has required His restored Church to oppose social and legal pressures to retreat from His doctrine of marriage between a man and a woman, to oppose changes that homogenize the differences between men and women or confuse or alter gender. The restored Church’s positions on these fundamentals frequently provoke opposition. We understand that. Our Heavenly Father’s plan allows for “opposition in all things,” and Satan’s most strenuous opposition is directed at whatever is most important to that plan. Consequently, he seeks to oppose progress toward exaltation by distorting marriage, discouraging childbearing, or confusing gender. However, we know that in the long run, the divine purpose and plan of our loving Heavenly Father will not be changed . . . A uniquely valuable teaching to help us prepare for eternal life, “the greatest of all the gifts of God,” is the 1995 proclamation on the family. Its declarations are, of course, different from some current laws, practices, and advocacy, such as cohabitation and same-sex marriage. Those who do not fully understand the Father’s loving plan for His children may consider this family proclamation no more than a changeable statement of policy. In contrast, we affirm that the family proclamation, founded on irrevocable doctrine, defines the kind of family relationships where the most important part of our eternal development can occur.
  20. I finished the entire Book of Isaiah for the first time a few days ago. My eyes have now read through all sixty-six chapters for the first time.
  21. I like Utah, but one of the biggest reasons I do not like it is we are running out of water. There are too many people living here now and not enough water. Reservoirs are being drained faster than they are being filled. This is a dry State. We are likely leaving and moving to another free State east of the Rocky Mountains in the next few years. Las Vegas, Nevada is in some serious trouble. Far too many people living there and not nearly enough water.
  22. Glad you are doing good work out there in the world. I presently work on an Air Force Base fixing people's computers that the security administrators continually break with software updates.
  23. Electronic mail your Senators and call them Tuesday. Tell them no red flag gun confiscation laws or any new gun restrictions on citizens. Tell them to instead work to remove gun free zones from schools and increase concealed carry armed guards and other security measures in schools.

From the Firearms Policy Coalition on 5-27-2022

We just received confirmation that Senator Lindsey Graham (Republican - South Carolina) is working directly with anti-gun Democrats on "Red Flag" legislation.
But it gets worse, because Susan Collins (Republican - Maine) and other Senate Republicans are now publicly advocating for federal gun confiscation.
And this is all being done with the explicit blessing of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (Republican - Kentucky).
McConnell previously instructed key Republicans to work toward a "bipartisan solution" on so-called 'gun violence.'

    Stop this treason now.

    =====================================================

Red flag gun confiscation laws violate citizen's 6th Amendment, 4th Amendment and 2nd Amendment rights. You are presumed guilty until proven innocent. It is impossible to prove that someone will never use their firearms wrongfully in the future. Also If a judge only hears one side of a story who are they going to believe?

  24. From the news stories I read (if they are correct) he was concealing his plans to murder and that indicates to me he knew what he was doing was illegal and did not want to be caught before he did the killings. That does not sound mentally ill to me. It sounds like the person was broken and evil. I am not the judge but it would not surprise me if he was in spirit prison suffering for the sins he did presently. Multiple murders are the worst sins one can commit in this life as most do not have enough light and knowledge to deny the Holy Ghost.
  25. Call me cold, but this is how I feel. I am glad the murderer was shot to death by law enforcement officers. I do not like murderers especially those who kill children. I believe the LORD took those children who died to be with Him in paradise and they are with the saints there in the spirit world now. I am also very sad for the parents who have lost their children.
