OR if they respond and dont cange their ways or attac the mods.Fastest way to be banned is to post commercials x times. To post links that are questionable. To write or link to stuff that is NOT after the teachings of the church and claim them as truth. Best way to stay around is to keep humble. Even if the bannings are not always unanimous among the modsquard.. at least all of the mods DO understand the reasons. Sigh... WHY CANT PEOPLE JUST LET IT GO, but they have to argue........... worst is to talk about it in the forum. Moderators dont only have the task to keep everyone kind and nice, but to keep everyone on the right path.
  2. Welcome! I been searching information on our religion a looong time and been enjoying it a lot. I needed to start doing that as I came across some evil forces that try to shake the church in my area. I just needed to have some real information to fight against them. I think it is so interesting.. stil after 10 years! And my faith has only been increasing... Good hunting!
  3. I am for the internett for misionaries... dibending a bit what they are doing there. There is a LOT of good knowledge on the internett, which they should get their hands on, but then there is a lot bad info too, which they should not go to. My son writes me 3-6 rows e-mails. That is very little IMHO. I am a little bit better, but knowing he has a lot to do I also write short. He put some pictures on Facebook finally after some 8 months and soon has gone an other 8 months.... I think misionsries should have a netsite where they can post pictures and tella bout their mision, what they are doing. They get to go to the internett in a library. Misionaries here go to the Church for internett. I been talking with my son on facebook a couple of times as there was something he needed to know right there and I think that was great and I dont think it disturbed his work. It is an other thing with those mothers that do not want to "let go" of their kids. I was able to help him to find good netsites for an investigator and to discuss some theolocigal problems he was not sure how to explain. It is a great feeling to have him there right then and I am sure he too had a great feeling knowing we are here for him. And I believe his steps were lighter that day. After all I could take a boat over night and meet him accidentaly on the streats anyday ... I think it is unnatural to have a child somewhere and not beeing able to contact, but with an e-mail. I send short e-mails all week then I get 3 rows back on monday... HEY that is today I need to write him more I think it would also be great if the missionaries were thaught to blogg about the church so that they would continue it after they had gone home. After all everyone is soon on the internett and we NEED our Church a lot more in picture on the internett! Also discusition forums are great for missionaries. Sure there is a lot of dangers on the internett, but so it is everywhere. FaceBook... UH.... NOT the best place but ok. There are a lot of good fb sites about the LDS church too sending these links to nonmembers is also misionarywork. BTW my son wrote a letter to my 93 year old mother and she become soooo happy about it! Great misionary work that too. That was worth a tousand letters for me...:)

  9. I think those books are a bit stupid... not much intellectuality... but it helps the boys to read. We had a bunch of them. My sons and I loved to read: Michael Scotts serie, first book is called Alchemist at least one sitl to come. There is an other serie that we liked a lot... but I have loaned it to a friend and cant recall teh name. Got it ... author is Wayne Thomas Batson ;The door within triology. I bought it on Deseret bookstore, but I think it is one of the books that is not for sale there any more. It is for a bit younger kids than the Scotts books. It was about a usual thinn little boy who suddenly is a person who is to save a world. If you find bookserie by Ruben Eliassen (Norwegean) called Phenomena (or something like that) in English that is a very nice youth/childrens bookserie. I think that serie was literaly better than most.:) Maybe I should write a youth/children serie... hmmm
  10. Mormons Books geography is always interesting... depending how many disagree again with the central America possibility. There are some really nice films about it too... or Lehis families travells from Jerusalem... Or maybe you just make a big Noas boat..

  16. Welcome. It is kind of funny as I been a Lutheran half of my life and a mormon the other half and I dont feel my faith or my Jeesus has changed at all in all those years. The only thing that has changed is my knowledge of the gospel. I have learned so much more about Jeesus Christ and everything.

    Hi

Hi Taylor. It is difficult to change the usual wikipedia, as it is soon changed back to the wrong again the usuall wikipedia beeing more or less under an antimormon eye. That is why there is a special Mormon FAIRwikipedia, which tends to have more facts from first or second person in stead of the anties 3rd to 6th stories. In either case you can PM me of the mistake so I can see, what I (we) can do about it. Welcome to the LDS.forum. ps questions can be asked on the forums.. as you have noticed... I think...
  20. One thig the gays dont understand (and tose making a big noice over thsi thing) is that EVERYBODY has temptations. Some break the law of marriage some break the low of chasity! It really is not that different we all are tempted, we all fall. Often people put sins in a line: the worst big sinn to little sin, but to God they all are equal! It is really sad that those with SGF feel they are sinners. A report from a scientist telling them it is genetic could realy spread relief among them. But unfortunately it has not come yet maybe it never comes... I dont know why some of us have really big burdens, big sores to carry all our life. We can not help it either where we are born, we can not help if something goes wrong in the birth and we are cp rest of our life. I think mostly it is a problem with our attitude. I dont mean that we stop calling a sinn a sinn, but we need to try to change our attitude to more suppostative for gays. A gay kid in a kindergarten or in the school and later at work, CAN be very difficult and disturbing when the person his/her love is aimed at dont want to paly the game. Once I was a head of a kindergarten and a female couple searched a place for their kid (made with a mencouple). I could not give them a place as there were some sisters coming in and an other that had been a very long time on the list. So I sent them a note like usually saying sorry... Then suddenly one of the kids moved. So I liiked at the lsit and the child of this couple was next in line ... so I called them. I told them that we ahve got a place now if they wanted it.... all I got as an naswer was hollow horryfieing laughter. Somewher in between she managed to say no. I am sure they tought that I did not take their kid to begin with, as they were a female couple and they had decide to pay back when I now "in my missery to fill the places" even called to them. Well I had many more on the list so taht was no problem. It is amazing how gays take an answer that is NO!
  21. Many find it an easier way out to get love and many are talked in to it by a gay, that has got their eye on them. it is like marriage... IF people would not all the time talk and vind about their marriages and wonder if they should devorce, many would not... but many get the good willing advice from other people that they should devorce and they do it.... ah you cant be with a man like that just leave him! If it is sooo dull leave him and find a better! Many are not gay by birth, but some are. It is weird that such things can happen. It is yet an unanswered question. We are not 100% sure if it is from birth or learned on the way. While waiting for the answer all we have is what it says in the Bible, which clarely is against the practice of it and we also have what our leaders say. Sins of Sodoma and Gommora are known. But I do feel it is funny that we dont allow those people their free will. I think they can gett mareried if they they wish, but not by our Church or in our Church. There are plenty of other Churches they can attend to get married. And if we give them this "right" they should give us our free will to teach our kids it is wrong and a sinn, but some people choose it just like some people choose to use alchohol. Also pupils should have the right to walk out of the lesson if they dont want to be there. Probably the whole teaching of marriage and sex should be taken away from schools or made uncompulsery and tought at home. Selibaty is also requested of the unmarried members of the church! We just need to be better in teaching our kids what is right and what is wrong! Schools should discuss about all materials, books to read, lessons that the kids are going to have with the parrents. Best is that religion and sex education are uncompulsery and can be done at home or Church. Woice from a cuontry wher the law got in from the back door.... no one knew... we got a few days warning.. and had not time to do anything. They are already talk about stopping the marriages. IF God would like us to give and other kind of answer to theiproblem he would tell it to us trough president Monson. Just like it was with the priesthood for everyone... IF it comes it comes... IF not ... then it is not Gods will.
  22. We have a woman that has beeb thought about the Church for some 5+ years.... HOW could we make her see the importance of babtizement?
