Over43 Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 I don't watch too much TV anymore, but have a few shows that I find somewhat worth the time to sit down and laugh. Remember laughter is the best medicine. I like, and watch on a regular basis: Monk, Psych! (both on USA Network), and then on Tuedsay evenings "Wipeout" makes me laugh to tears sometimes. Jon Quote
Truegrits Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 They just recently had a Monk marathon. I was able to see episodes I had missed. I sooo identify with him, being a controlled obsessive/compulsive! Quote
DigitalShadow Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 Psych is the funniest show on TV right now IMHO :) Quote
Wingnut Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 Bones and House. Not on the air anymore, but The West Wing. Quote

I really wonder why people would sign up to appear on shows like this. The outfits alone is enough to make me want to change the channel! Still, with as mature as I pretend to be, the way that woman says, "Oh crap!" makes me laugh every time. Quote
tubaloth Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 Season Finally of Wipeout is tonight :roflmbo::crackup: But I am sad its going to be gone for a while. Hole in the wall is okay, but they drag it out to long. I can't figure out why everybody has a mic on them? They should of just had the guy do it, not have two people. I like House (I have seen every episode of it) new shows tonight. I use to like Prison break but this new season is strange? (can't wait for 24 to come back). I also like the Office. Right now I'm trying to watch every episode of Mythbusters! (the internet is amazing) So far I think I have got them all! Quote

Guest JHM-in-Bountiful Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 In terms of current first run entertainment tv shows, I basicly watch America's Funniest Video's (AFV). Although these days the show seems like a big advertisement for the Disney Corp. I mostly watch shows like Modern Marvels, Nova, & Glenn Beck. Quote

HoosierGuy Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 I have cable and DirecTV. I watch nothing on the CBS/ABC/NBC/FOX except the national news and local news. I use to watch The Daily Show and Colbert Report but have mostly given them up. I usually Tivo old episodes of Hogan’s Hero's and Daniel Boone. I may watch The History Channel or old Twilight Zone episodes. That's about all I watch except sports - baseball some and NFL. Maybe a little racing - IndyCar, NHRA drag racing. I don’t watch any of those Dancing with the Stars shows or that one "talent contest" show on Fox. Ugh. I also subscribe to Netflix. I'm really burned out on films. Seems like I've seen them all. I've been Netflixing old episodes of Hawaii Five-0. I have never really seen this series. The first season was in 1968 and when I watched the first season - wow! That show is a very unrighteous show. Lots of murder, drug use, teen girls in bad situations, more murder, and hippies! Oh, and lots of Hawaiian Muumuu's! Quote
