OkieRider Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 Boy its good to be home. Two weeks!! The doctors say I made an amazing recovery at the asylum after that disheartening Oklahoma defeat at the hands of the Ga Ga Gat.... Ok (I still can't say it.) Anyway, life goes on. Now that College football is over and the Superbowl is upon us I wondered what sports everyone likes to follow? I always fall into a lull after the Superbowl for a few weeks. I like to watch... College Football College basketball only during the tournament Pro Football only at playoffs NBA Basketball All Star Game then mildly follow till playoffs then I watch Pro cycling, ie, Tour d' France Nascar (mostly superspeedway races, Talladega, Daytona) AMA Superbike Racing (Visited Miller Motorsports Park in Utah last year for Superbike races. Brother lives in Stansbury Park)
Captain_Curmudgeon Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 Womens' Beach Volleyball. (Everything else is a distant second.)
cjmaldrich Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 I'm a horrible man... I'm really not in to following sports... But I do go to the Utah State University hockey games as often as possible College Hockey is pretty much awesome. NHL is pretty cool too, but college is where it's at.
Truegrits Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 1.) College Football 2.) Pro Baseball 3.) Women's College Basketball 4.) Pro Basketball 5.) Pro Football (only when I like a team that is playing)

siouxz72 Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 Hey! It's a legit sport! And completely fascinating... will he last 8 seconds? will he not last 8 seconds? How much will the bull buck? Will the clowns get gored? See??? fascinating!!
L_and_P21 Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 Colorado Avalanche (NHL) Denver University Pioneers (College Hockey) Jazz (NBA) curling anyone?
pam Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 I could sit and watch golf and badminton for hours. Of course my eyes might be closed and you might hear the faint sound of snoring...but that's beside the point.
skalenfehl Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 Mixed martial arts. That's about it. Not big on sports, really. My wife should be thankful.
FunkyTown Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 I watch Boxing and love it, but Boxing should not be classified as a sport. You play football. You play baseball. You play hockey. You do not play boxing.
Palerider Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 My problem is....I love to watch all the sports....

Misshalfway Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 Why exactly do people enjoy watching golf? Isn't that like watching a movie in slow motion?
Palerider Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 Why exactly do people enjoy watching golf? Isn't that like watching a movie in slow motion? I am not much of a golf person.....I can only watch the big tournaments....the masters....us open.....british open.....thats about it...:)
Ghost_Rider Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 I like golf. but like pale...the big ones. it is actually better live and you follow the player of your choice. I enjoyed watching Gary McCord play. but the Texas heat was brutal... I imagine Pale plays like Carl from caddyshack anyway...that or Happy before he learns to putt....lol
