I'm exactly the same IRL as I am online, just ask Pam.

You're kinda thin, in an unhealthy way. Plus your posture is as bad as mine.

Don't be asking me..I have to be nice to you IRL to keep peace in the family.

I seldom say much around my own house. My daughter does not like to be interrupted when she is talking (and talking) and my son seldom talks unless it is over the microphone for his on-line games. I only speak at Church to say hello or read a few paragraphs when called upon. I try not to ask questions in the lessons lest they think I am one of those Internet Mormons.

Message boards seem a good place to share a few thoughts. If one posts enough over a period of time, they usually abandon any characteristics not truly their own. In these cases I always assume that what you see is what you get in terms of core personality and values. That is good, because people can begin to see the real you, apart from superficial trapping that hinder our perceptions of the genuine article.

I am not a good speaker. Online, my thoughts get typed out as they come to me rather than forcing everyone here to endure any stutterings, long pauses, and similar verbal failings. So, I would say my online personality is much smoother than my real life counterpart.

I'm much nicer and more reserved on the internet. I get a chance to think before I post something, that's the beauty of the internet message boards. You get to see what you are saying before you click "post reply".

I wish I could keep my mouth shut offline. I'm just too opinionated and very aggressive about it. I'm getting much better though.

Hmm. I'm not as organised as I am online. I can think things through before I post them. I take pride in not needing to edit posts. In person I'm a lot more scatterbrained and impulsive. I've been known to say things at the wrong time and in the wrong place. You just can't un-ring a bell once it's rung.

Hmmm, well I don't howl at the moon or mark my territory, but the awesomeness is all there.

As for the personality, well I tend to be more serious online as I am worried others won't understand my humor when the facial expressions and tone aren't there. Also, I think that I am much more direct and open online than in real life. I don't want this to sound mean, but I guess its cause online I am not wo worried with tact.

Well, online I'm 6'2", and a lean 220 with 6-pack abs, great tan, blue eyes, all the money I could ever possibly imagine needing, 3 brand-new cars in my 5-car garage at my mansion on 1000 acres of premiere hunting land....

In real life.......not so much.

6'2" and 220lbs? How does it feel to be overweight online? I thought 190 was the ideal for 6'2".

Edit: Actually I just looked at a calculator. According to the one I saw, the perfect weight for a 6'2" man is 155-194lbs. Seems kinda anorexic to me.

I guess it's all those online steroids.....lol

But really that's not terribly overweight. Think of an NFL running back 6'2" 220. That's not unreasonable......and hey, it's my fantasy, give me some slack....

Really, I'm 5'11" 175, and I'm ok with that.
