MarginOfError Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 We all have them. Stupid little things that we think would make us less cool or popular if people knew them about us. What are some of yours?I got started thinking about this as I realized that I think the song "I See the Light" (from Tangled) is really pretty, but I wouldn't exactly go admit that to my boy scouts. Guest mormonmusic Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 · Hidden Hidden I like Madonna's music. Admitting that is one way to get ix- nayed when you admit it in a group of testosterone-laden men.

Dravin Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 If I wasn't living in Utah, and about to move to Indiana, I'd probably have to hide the fact that I've developed a taste for country music. Quote
JudoMinja Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 I honestly cannot think of anything about myself that I find embarrassing to admit... I've been wracking my brains all day since I saw this post this morning. Quote

JudoMinja Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 You're weight? Not to call you fat or anything, but I find a lot of women don't like giving that number out.Actually, I'm not embarrassed about it at all. And I am obese. I haven't been able to get back in shape ever since having my son, and he's two now. I'm 5'0" and weigh 185 1bs. Before I was pregnant, I was 130 and happy with my weight even though I would have been considered "overweight" still. I am unhappy with myself for being unable to get the extra weight off, but I'm not embarrassed to tell people. Quote
Guest Godless Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 I occasionally listen to Loreena McKennitt. It's an odd fit on an iPod filled with hardcore punk and a bit of pagan death metal, but hey, I like her music!I really enjoyed the movie Love Actually.I eat a lot of bologna sandwiches and Chef Boyardee when I'm at home. I ain't rich and my beer ain't cheap. Quote

Don't know if my money would go to beverages though, probably computers and games. :) Quote
Backroads Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 I think I may have a mild Social Anxiety Disorder. Whew, that felt good to say! Though that may be due to the disorder and not any pride... I dunno... I think I freely admit everything. Everyone knows I love pink and cute animals. And that I am still a die-hard Backstreet Boys fan. Quote

Specifically, N*Sync and the Backstreet Boys. Haha. Now that I think about it, I was a pretty die-hard fan as well and in fact enjoy the BSB recent album. So I guess there was something to share! It just hadn't crossed my mind.. My husband loves to tease me about being a boy band fan girl. He was an 80s teen so our taste in music is way different lol. Quote

Lost_one Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 (edited) I love going to the cinema to see romantic movies. Last one I went to was "PS I Love You". Got some really strange looks from a group of girls, once they realised I was on my own. Oh and went to see Red Riding Hood last week. Thought it was great. Edited April 29, 2011 by Lost_one Quote
