By popular demand with a total vote of Wingnut, I am starting this thread. It should be fun.

Write something you like about how the person above you posts. Things that you like. Treat this like if you go around the table at thanksgiving saying things you like, not the "air of grievances" off of Seinfeld.

I am not sure who to start out with, so I will start with the most recent post that stuck in my mind. I choose Mirkwood to get this started. I recently posted something that I knew could be seen as potential paranoia or extreme. The moment I posted it I knew that Mirkwood would be a good person to respond to it since it had to do with his line of work. I knew however that I was exposing myself to some pretty harsh criticism. When he responded to my post, it was calm, to the point and not demeaning at all. I appreciate this, from responses such as these I know that I can trust that Mirk will respond in similar fashions. Thanks Mirk!

Now it is your turn. Go!

EarlJibbs, you seem like someone who tries to understand other people's opinion. A good example I can remember recently is the thread "Going to Temple when we have a truckload of livestock? Weird, Strange, Still Okay to do?" where you tried to understand mine despite the fact that it wasn't the popular thing to do. :P I appreciated that. You are also very polite in your responses. :)

Suzie I appreciate how kind you have been to me giving me support when I need it , understanding and sharing things about yourself. You have been a good sister to me, even though we have never met in real time.

Pam is generous and hospitable to a fault. :D

BTW, we just got a gift card to Olive Garden for our wedding anniversary. I guess you started "the gift that keeps on giving."

PC is my favorite guy on LDS.net. He reminds me everyday of how we can be from different faiths and different cultures (his wife is Asian) and still have utmost respect for each other.

anatess, when I first started reading her posts and I believe she had another avatar I thought she was a man and I remember my friend MOE saying "If she is a man, she has the biggest ovaries" Fun times.

Anatess and I disagree in quite a few issues but what I admire about her is that she is not afraid to express her thoughts, no matter how popular or unpopular they might be.

I love this because that is how I feel about Suzie. The difference being though, that I generally agree with Suzie, and I appreciate that as well. :D

I know I shouldn't reply this often lol but I cannot avoid it because it's LiterateParakeet. :)

What I love and admire about her is that she expresses her thoughts through experience and for me those are the best type of opinions. She went through a lot of hardships in life, things that probably most people would never have to go through ever and yet she remains so positive about life and she is so kind and caring about other people. A sensitive soul.

I'm just starting to know Palerider so I don't really have an impression of him besides he seems as old as Pam.

I want to say something about Suzie, though. I really like Suzie even when we're on opposite sides of a discussion. She's one that will tell me exactly what she thinks so I don't have to dig out ulterior meanings. And she's never mean about it. Just straight forward, to the point.

I guess I can take a shot at this because anatess is one of the posts I will look for when there are discussions of interest to me going on in the forum.

I am not saying I always agree with what anatess has to say...but, I can tell from her posts that she thinks about what she is going to say and is knowledgeable in the Church.

I appreciate most of your posts anatess...even the ones I don't agree with.

Anatess I like since she and I will sometimes shoot (or post) first, then ask questions later, getting ourselves into all kinds of trouble.

slamjet is one the sweetest yet most brutally honest gentleman on this board. He tolerates my kitty pictures on Facebook with some class, and makes me feel all-around loved.

Backroads has always impressed me as someone with a big heart who's unafraid to be vulnerable. Her warm care and concern come thru in her posts. If she disagrees with you, she does so in a manner that it would take great effort to find offense. She is generous with her thanks and quick to laugh. I appreciate her thoughtful comments and insights and the tone she brings to the forum.

I object to Backroad's characterization of me as "sweet" besides, the reason I tolerate her cat postings is that her husband is in the military and knows 101 ways to kill me... slowly.

Just like her, taking that nice-thing too far

slamjet is one of the funniest members in our forum, always cheerful, always trying to remain positive and most of all, I admire his willingness to share his own personal life story to help others.
