Pardon me, but...Trump's wife has never done pornshoots, and the one she did may not have been fully clothed, but it really was a long ways from porn.  I just find it astonishing that people have so little to attack Trump on that they have to go dig up his past.  Just like Judge Kavenaugh (sp?).  They can't find anything recent so they look in the past, and when they can't find anything there they'll make something up. 

ETA- I stand corrected.  However, it really is irrelevant.

After reading all eight (expletive) pages, I think I'm ready to puke.  The thread itself is "ok".  But this guy LatterDSaint set you guys up.  He wants a debate full of vitrol and angst.  Bam.  He's on ignore.

But then two senior moderators that not only fell for it but also participated in the improper conduct, man...I'm like DUDES!  What the heck is wrong with you?!?!?!  I lost respect for both and both of them (who will remain unnamed) are now on my ignore list.

I am involved in politics and I assure you this thread was nothing more than a bait & switch.

I'm not a senior moderator so I don't think I'm one of these.  There are two senior moderators active on this thread and that's @estradling75 and @Just_A_Guy.  Both have not engaged in improper conduct.  As a matter of fact, both of those guys are passionate when it comes to political discussions and we've gone around the block sometimes on the same side of the fence and other times on opposite sides of the fence and I have not felt improper conduct from either of them.  Just because they disagree with me doesn't make their conduct improper.

So, I'm curious... what did you see as improper conduct?  Whether the OP did a bait & switch is irrelevant.  When it comes to the topic raised, we don't need a bait nor a switch to get rolling on it.

MOD HAT ON:  We ask all users to report posts (Using the report post function) they find questionable.  It does not matter if it is a Mod they are reporting or not.

That is the process.  EVERYONE should use it and then let it be dealt with by those that have the authority to do something about it.

Individuals who do not report and "MAGICALLY" expect the MOD staff to just know have only themselves to blame if they do not feel heard. Those individuals that take it upon themselves to try to enforce the rules run a high risk of breaking the rules themselves when they do so

Indeed... and socks just aren't as visible...  I mean no one want to see me in just my socks... and once you have shoes and pants on they can be a bit hard to see.

Mods should weild mighty mod hammers, and mod boots.

The hammer is the admin ban, the boots are for kicking.

I am unaware of what the hat does. All this uncertainty makes me uncertain.
