mikbone Posted May 29, 2019 Report Posted May 29, 2019 (edited) It was a 3 hour day trip from Redding. All the children loved it. Wander up to the roof garden after the tour. It will continue to be open till June 1st. It was beautiful. The last time I was there, I was 2 and sealed to my parents. I don’t have many recollections other than I spilled some cheerios on the floor and it got cleaned up fast. The Lord’s servants have done some great work. Can’t wait to go back after the dedication. I’m going Saturday. Can’t wait. I was also sealed to my parents there when I was about 14 months old. I’m told I screamed the entire time. Midwest LDS and mikbone 2 Quote

SilentOne Posted May 30, 2019 Report Posted May 30, 2019 My nephew was sealed to his parents in the same temple at about 10 months. He was very quiet and very interested in the proceedings. Midwest LDS 1 Quote
NeedleinA Posted May 30, 2019 Report Posted May 30, 2019 Thanks for sharing the pictures @mikbone. Our family was there visiting, under construction, only a couple of months ago. The view out of visitors center over the bay is incredible. The missionary testimony room was exactly what our family needed that day. Still_Small_Voice, mikbone and Traveler 3 Quote

Still_Small_Voice Posted May 31, 2019 Report Posted May 31, 2019 I have good memories of the Oakland Temple. My parents were married there and I got my endowments done there before I left to serve a mission. The roof top garden is beautiful. NeedleinA and Midwest LDS 2 Quote

Just_A_Guy Posted June 2, 2019 Report Posted June 2, 2019 We went yesterday. Lovely day, though the bay was hazy. Quote

The precipitation on the Iberian peninsula condenses principally over the interior plateaus. (If you disagree, take it up with Eliza Doolittle.) Just_A_Guy, Midwest LDS and beefche 3 Quote
