Oakland Temple Open House

It was a 3 hour day trip from Redding.  All the children loved it.  Wander up to the roof garden after the tour.  It will continue to be open till June 1st.

It was beautiful.  The last time I was there, I was 2 and sealed to my parents.  I don’t have many recollections other than I spilled some cheerios on the floor and it got cleaned up fast.

The Lord’s servants have done some great work.  Can’t wait to go back after the dedication.

I’m going Saturday.  Can’t wait.   I was also sealed to my parents there when I was about 14 months old.  I’m told I screamed the entire time.

My nephew was sealed to his parents in the same temple at about 10 months. He was very quiet and very interested in the proceedings.

Thanks for sharing the pictures @mikbone. Our family was there visiting, under construction, only a couple of months ago. The view out of visitors center over the bay is incredible. The missionary testimony room was exactly what our family needed that day.

I have good memories of the Oakland Temple.  My parents were married there and I got my endowments done there before I left to serve a mission. 

The roof top garden is beautiful.

My parents were sealed there as well.

We went yesterday.  Lovely day, though the bay was hazy.

The precipitation on the Iberian peninsula condenses principally over the interior plateaus. (If you disagree, take it up with Eliza Doolittle.)
