Undisguised Wikipedia antiSemitism/Jew hatred

(I prefer the term "Jew hatred" because it's not really a Semitic thing. Plenty of people hate Arabs, too, but it's not the same as Jew hatred.)

My IP (in Redmond, WA) is conveniently disallowed from doing edits on Wikipedia. Otherwise, this particular oh-so-funny joke would have already been at least temporarily removed.

The thing with wikis is that by their very nature, they're vulnerable to censorship, "pranks", deliberately incorrect material, edit wars, and all sorts of other things. 

For example, last year someone decided to "prank" Wikipedia itself by going into their featured article for that day and replacing the image at the top of the page with uncensored adult material. 

Articles relating to the church are often targeted by people who want to put the church in a bad light while making its opponents look more noble, such as how someone scrubbed Martha Beck's page to remove the extensive listing of controversies surrounding her and links to where people were debunking her claims. 

I myself was once an editor on a popular Transformers franchise fan wiki, and saw firsthand how political things could get on wikis. This included the owner of the site deciding that as the owner he could go against his own rules whenever he felt like.

They're always banging on about antisemitists here. I don't understand who these antisemitism are. I don't hate Jews. Do you hate Jews? I don't believe I know anyone who hates Jews. One of my best friends at school was a Jew. Admittedly he was a bit of an idiot (and a lot of people told him so) but his being an idiot had nothing to do with his being Jewish. On one occasion half the school got so tired of his shenanigans that they carried him to a notoriously muddy patch on the edge of the soccer pitch and threw him in.

By the way, when I say he was "an idiot" I don't mean he was unintelligent. He was one of the cleverest people I've ever known. He was just a bit on the loopy side. But again, that was nothing to do with his race or religion*.

*Not that he was in the slightest bit religious. Neither were any of his family. They even had a Christmas tree every year.

On one occasion in college the dorm bully got  all his clothes thrown in the quad during a snowstorm. 

All that said, just because you and I don’t hate Jewish people doesn’t mean Jewish hate doesn’t exist.

True.   Here in the US, we're having various pro-palestinian demonstrations/protests across our nation's college campuses.  Sometimes they turn into breaking into a building and occupying it.  When the news covers the more violent stuff, sometimes we hear that many of those arrested were not students, and have no ties to the college at which the protest was held.  Someone is trying (and succeeding) at radicalizing many impressionable college-age kids against Israel.

The rhetoric that's common in many of these events, includes slogans like "from the river to the sea, palestine will be free", and "globalize the intifada".  There are endless, and I mean ENDLESS, interviews and examples on record showing individuals who believe those slogans mean what they say.  They claim Israel as a nation must be utterly destroyed, and probably violently.  They really do mean Jews should be targeted across the world.

An example, shortly after Israel began operations in Gaza: in Philidelphia, a large group of 20+ folks protested a local Jewish owned restaurant.  "Goldie's sandwiches" or some such thing.  The crowd threw rocks through the windows, spray painted, and shouted "Goldie Goldie you can't hide, we charge you with genocide!"

Imagine a news feed with at least 2-6 similar stories, every day.  That's what you can find in the US if you look for it.
