We need to sticky topics like this. Every new member that comes in is going to start up the same poll.

BTW, LDS here.

What does 'sticky topics' do? If we need to 'sticky topics'...we gotta know what it is so we can do it....right? :D

I think he means we need to pin it to the top of the board so everyone can read it when they start posting here so that the same poll isn't repeated........... and repeated ...............and repeated .................

some of my daughter's High School friends are LDS...they're everywhere, they're everywhere - even on this MB.

Meaning your family, or kids' friends?

Both! :)

I cannot believe how many LDS are on this board! You'd think it was an LDS board, or something. :o

Don't feel outnumbered Jenda...just feel special! :)

When I saw the 1 next to RLDS...I said to myself..."There's Jenda...There's Jenda!"

Geeeez I guess I need to get out more :)

The protuberance didn't start to grow until I started hanging out with all those Mormons.

Community of Christ/RLDS I'm friendly to all restoration groups even if their teachings are different from Joseph Smith's. We'll all be together some day when the Nephite library is found. Hope it's soon

As you all know I am new here.

Sometimes it gets a little confusing reading everyone's posts since some people I'm not sure if they're mormon or not.

So, please post your religion as well as answering the poll.

That way I can just know and therefore have an idea of what to expect. :)

Thanks!

I'm LDS. We're right and you're wrong.

I am non-denominational Christian but that is because I didn't know what church to join and so left the church of England in a search for the right church.

Though I have now found the church of J.C. of L.D.S. I am feeling very much at home there and feel that it is time that I ought to be baptised.

That is the reason why I left the CofE, because I knew I should be baptised but first of all should find the right church to be baptised in.

I have been looking for 4 years now.

The annoying thing is that I can't be baptised without parental permission as I am 17 and my Mum doesn't want me to become "A Mormon" :( .

So I am having difficulty explaining to her how it is a Christian church and how I feel that my 4 year seach has led me to this church.

Could you please pray for me as I would like to be baptised soon and I could be baptised if she gives permission.

I would ask my dad but he has left our family for another woman.

Though I guess he would give permission I feel it would be wrong to ask him as he never sees me.
