Hmmm - talking about the Danish cartoons still? Such messages will usually include talk about current events to substantiate their claim that it's a recent message. Did this latest recording have any such substantiation?

Last I heard, we were thinking Bin Laden was dying of various ailments, but no confirmation of his actual death yet. Did I miss something?

Kidney failure was the major issue.

Most of the world missed the point also. The French and some inside XXX personal agree the same. The only survivor with the upper leadership still resides in Iran. So much for Allah protection seeing the man is a coward. lol

The anti-Iran lies and rhetoric vomiting from the mouths of our media and political leaders are repugnant and idiotic. The fear-mongering is all lies. Be not deceived.

Well, since we've decided to throw charity out the window and fall down and worship the idol of emotional rhetoric...

The head-in-the-sand anti-US government dupes and their irrelevant and contradictory blatherings about how Iran is no threat, but if they are, it's all our fault, are the sign of an illogical and immature thought process. Their idealistic nonsense is based on sensation and emotion, not reason. Be not persuaded by their powerful argumentation - it's backed up by little other than fact-picking one-sided double-standard holding.

Now, see, I can hurl insults as well as you can. Doesn't that make me just as relevant?

He's not dead Hemi.

I hav'ta agree, if you haven't seen the body it is hard to assume he is dead.

But does it matter, most of the insane who follow him think he is still kickin' around.

I could not agree more. Iran is not in any way associated with Bin Laden -- the Sunni extremists, especially Wahabi-ists, hate Shia Iranians as much as they hate Christians. Iran helped the US in the war against the Taliban and then the US government, probably doing the bidding of Israeli government leaders, turned on Iran and called them part of the "Axis of Evil".

As regimes go the Iranians are a Jeffersonian democracy compared to Saudi Arabia. Iran does not pour money into the coffers of mosques around the world which specialize in promoting hate against the infidels. People of non-Islamic background can serve in Iran's government while a non-Muslim cannot even be buried in the "holy soil" of Saudi Arabia.

Let's look at Iran's position. Iran started agressively developing nuclear weapons after Clinton bombed Serbia during Operation Stained Dress -- they didn't want to be the victim of a similar violation of international law. Iran is near Pakistan which may any day fall tot he same Taliban-types we threw out of Afghanistan (and then they would have nukes). Israel has at least 200 nuclear bombs -- how would we feel being non-nuclear with Cuba having nukes?

I say we sell the Iranians nuclear power and allow them nukes if they want them, but I'm not even sure they want to waste their money on them. Look how useless they have been since the end of WWII. Think about how much cash has been spent on them and none have been used. Nuclear weaponry is one of those 'let's not and say we did' things.

Iran needs power and bad. We should be helping them.

I was talking about the book in the Bible named revelations. It refers to pillars of fire - that could be described as the use of nuclear weapons.

The only pillars of fire I am aware of there are the feet of the angel in Chapter 10 verse 1. The LDS interpretation of the angel can be studied in D&C 88. It is believed that this angel shall sound AFTER the second coming.

I actually agree with Fiannan.

I have to go take my meds now.
