Hello, my name is Vanilla and I am addicted to this series! I loved Twilight... unfortunately for me, I finished it late Saturday night and couldn't run out to buy the 2nd one. (Well, maybe fortunately as I might have missed church if I would have had a really good book to read! :-D )

I feel your pain Biz. I would love to get an LDS fiction group together to switch books with. I used to read three or four lds fiction books a month, but have gotten out of the habit as there are so many other things pulling me away from "breezy" reading. :-( Where are you from? Would starting a "mini-enrichment" book club help you find others to switch books with? PrisonChaplain had a great idea as well and you can always find books on ebay!

I struggled with whether or not to respond to this thread as I am trying really hard to not be contentious, but I have to pose the question, why do members of the church feel the need to put labels on other children of our Father in Heaven? In the temple, everyone wears the same thing so that everyone there is the same, no one better or worse than any other, all are equal. It sure would be nice if we could all just have one label, "Child of God" To make a generalized comment that lawyers are "less-intelligent" is ridiculous! I am sure that my Stake President, along with other more well known "unsophisticated, less-intelligent" people who practiced in the "filthy legal world" (the late James E. Faust, L. Tom Perry, and Dallin H. Oaks) would appreciate your opinions.

Congratulations! After you have farm fresh eggs for a while, it will be hard to go back to store bought. Just a thought, you might want to start cracking your eggs into a bowl one at a time, that way you avoid any "surprises".

When I think about the many sleepovers at my best friends house I have to stop and smile. We had so much fun. Aside from Saturday and Sunday nights, we spent the night at each other's house sometimes 5 times a week, including school nights. Spending the night at my house was fun for her because I was the only child left at home, so it was way different than being around her five brothers. The reverse was the same for me, I loved being at her house because of all the chaos with all of her brothers. I understand completely where you are coming from, but I find this really sad. This is yet just one more fun thing from our childhood that has to be taken away from today's youth because of the way society is now...kinda like trick or treating! Would you feel the same about your daughter spending the night at a girlfriend's house if there were only females in the household? What about family? Are cousins welcome?

Am I the only one out there that has never read even the first Harry Potter book? I did see the first movie about a year ago. I just didn't get what all of the hype was about.
